Food here is yummy, not much to complain about. The service is attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is viby with a bit of a calm feeling, and is very well decorated as its to theme. If you are into hub, I have heard that they do make a very good hub, and it's clean.

A nice tiny window into Turkish food and culture, some amazing Turkish coffee and kebab. Really great chilled atmosphere. And a delicatessen with Turkish meats and treats. Staff and friendly and helpful, service is prompt and the place is well cared for. Istanbul Kebab was highly recommended to us from a Turkish family. We went there with our kids today and everyone was extremely happy, and very full when we left! The food was all excellent. We started with some hummus and roti, and we all got an entree. Although we all got there hungry we took three separate boxes home because there was so much food. It's a bit of a drive for us to get there, about 40 minutes, but I have a feeling we'll be visiting many more times.

Always a great experience at Istanbul Kebab Sunninghill. Delicious and authentic food, great seating and ambieance... and really good, smiling staff. The complimentary Turkish tea after a meal is the cherry on top. Only one downside, food's quite pricey here. Vegetarian options: A good few veggie options available.

Dinner for 15 - booked on day of dinner with no hassles. Lovely Turkish restaurant with plenty of imported Turkish products on display to purchase. Love the display of the desserts at the entrance. Staff is attentive and service is good and friendly. No alcohol served neither is alcohol allowed to be brought in - this is what I have been told. The meat platter is quite a serving ordered by 12 at the table - mixed reviews on this dish at the table. Drinks were also delish. Personally I was the one not satisfied as I am a pescatarian and there was not a single seafood item on the menu and just 2 vegetarian which I really wasn’t chaffed with. Double check your bill as we were overcharged. I would recommend the Irish coffee and the mock tails.

Excellent food and order was taken and food was delivered in quick time even though the restaurant was extremely busy with all tables full and people waiting in a queue to get into the restaurant. Excellent customer service and well done to the management of the restaurant. All table are seen to. You don’t get this kind of service from other restaurants even when they are quite. Out of this world. As a foodie and restaurant enthusiast, I would say Istanbul kebab is worth the visit. The sunninghill branch is not as striking as the Melrose branch in terms of setting, but that has no effect whatsoever on the food. The service we received from Charles was up to my standards. He looked after us well. We had the Iskender kebab. It's always a favorite of mine. It came with an array of sides: The winner of which was the Hummus, which was smooth and just perfect with the flat bread. We then shopped some imported Turkish items: coffee, olives, rose jam, and, of course, Turkish delight. I even found a baklava chocolate which I've already eaten - worth every calorie! We had the chocolate baklava and double pistachio baklava to finish, and we received complimentary tea when we requested the bill.

Wonderful restaurant, we had the mixed platter serves 2-4 it was delicious, the chops, sliced kebab and chicken kebabs together with the rice was the highlight for me. Alot of meze sides included. Service was excellent and topped off with complimentary turkish teas was a lovely touch.
