Upgrading to iPhone13 at the iStore was a disappointing and frustrating experience. My previous upgrade at the Brooklyn Vodashop was a seamless and easy action done while I had lunch but this time I chose the iStore because of their free screen insurance and the promise that they could offer the same contract. My first disappointment was finding that I couldn’t get the same contract offered by Vodashop and had to pay R100 pm more for a larger one which I didn’t really need, but I reluctantly accepted and was told they would transfer all data from my old iPhone 10 and contact me when it was done in a few hours. Half a day later being frustrated by lack of my smartphone and no feedback, I tried to contact the iStore only to find they have no number for public contact. After work I went back to discover that my transfer could not be done unless they deleted all my WhatsApp videos which I found strange because both iPhones had the same size memory - 256 Gigs. I then returned after another day’s wait and received my phone and was disappointed to find many of my settings, ring tones and stored messages had not been transferred to my new phone and my stored Bluetooth connections had been lost. Since then I have twice returned with other issues including loss of access to my iCloud account and loss of ability for even the most basic backup of contacts and settings. The only reason for a 2 star rating rather than 1 star is that one of their technicians was helpful and did his best to rectify my problems. My advice to others is keep your old iPhone going as in my opinion the iPhone 13 offers no significantly noticeable improvement over the iPhone 10, and if you really need a new iPhone rather use the Vodashop
Very bad customer service. Got a phone contract from them which was delayed due to certain issues, and instead of the communicating about the progress, I had to be the one who constantly called them. Even when my phone was ready for pick up I wasn’t notified still only found out I when I called the call centre to enquire. Now I need my contract to apply for insurance application and it was never given to me nor sent via email. I emailed the manager Thursday and I’m still waiting for a response. Regret choosing to go to this branch for my phone
Terrible experience and unhelpful staff. Pre-Covid most of the staff were helpful and willing, whereas now they won't even ring something up for you. I wanted to buy a cover for my watch, the lady wouldn't advise me on which one is appropriate for my watch more would she ring it up, she just referred me and other clients to her colleague who already had a line of people waiting to pay given that her waypoint had no queue. We took our MacBook in for repairs and had to wait at least 15min to get someone to assist as they just stand there and stare at you. If you ask them for assistance they refer you to someone who is already helping another client. Eventually we got them to book the MacBook in, but they miscommunicated making it seem they have already received our repaired MacBook. When we got there, the lady who was assisting us had a very poor attitude and we left without the MacBook. When the MacBook arrived -- two hours later? --, we fetched it but they had reverted the MacOS to a previous MacOS from Monterey back to Catalina and they locked it with a pin not provided to us they also didn't mentioned that it would be locked. When we phoned in to ask for the pin, no one knew what the pin was, they said they will find out and get back to us. An hour later I phoned in, the lady was very rude because she says that I have to be patient. Two hours later they provided us with the pin. I would not recommend iStore Centurion Mall based on my experience there.
Very bad service! They just don`t want to help. Firstly standing around in store, you have to ask them to help you. Then they are able to help you but lines are offline. When you go back the next day because your phone can only be reserved for 48hours they can`t help you anymore but you already sent all documents that is needed. This was my first istore experience and it was very bad.
Worst experience ever. You have to wait in a que to register to get in the que. It's an hour later and the same people are still busy with their upgrades. They don't always have stock and are extremely slow. And don't come in after 16h30 for an upgrade. The store closes at 19h00 but they don't do any upgrades after 17h00.
A ZERO STAR RATING guys pls get your employers act in order ! worst service ever nothing got fixed ! this was really the worst service i’ve ever gotten i mean like really ??? i’m standing right infront of you asking for help but you ignoring me ? i mean yoh! this is so pathetic rather close down this branch because nothing gets done here because of the workers ! will deff tell everyone about this service! worsttt i’m a customer i should be treated with help ! i felt like i was in the way ! also one of the employer can’t keep her mouth shut and still goes on when i’m asking for help i wish i got her name ! very rude and arrogant women doesn’t deserve to be a worker there !
CENTURION ISTORE! Really bad service! Waiting for months for the Iphone 14 and they let you know it is ready in Decemberwhen on holiday No plan to be made at all. The worst is the when you ask is there any plan to be made or express that you are upset. The person from the Istore supports to try and help PUTS THE PHONE DOWN IN YOUR EAR. Really really bad experiece.
Poor customer service, with very unfriendly staff that seem too busy to attend a customer, no update or whatsoever with regards to your application query. I even had to ask one of the consultants to assist me, after 2 hours of waiting in the queue.
They started packing up 15 minutes before close time. They don’t even attend to customers when it’s close to knock off time. We had to ask them how we get out of the store because they closed all the doors at 16:45. The one lady even said ‘Sundays are for lovers’. Worst retail experience ever !
Waiting 30mins in a queue to get on the list. Then you hear about 90mins because you're no 5 in the queue. After the 90mins, you hear you are no 3. Then you leave, get a call after 20mins to say you're no 1 but you can come back in an hour... only to wait until 3hours have passed since you first enetered the store, to see a consultant. They are seriously not built for speed. I don't understand why such a top notch brand don't focus on their service. If I could rate them -10, I would have!
