Itsoseng Book And Gift Shop

The place is clean and the staff is friendly. They offer their assistance as soon as you enter the store. It might be a bit overwhelming for those who love to browse through in solitude. The books are a bit pricey compared to other stores outside Klerksdorp. I think they take advantage of being one of the few book stores in the area. I was ecstatic to find a book that I've been looking for for two years. It was a priceless moment for me.

Horrendous service. The lady on the floor has non to little interest in customers. She drags her feet to assist to get books at the top shelves down. In some cases she ignored my requests. I'm not familiar with the store so at some point I asked her where I can find books of a certain caliber. She replied by saying "look around, you'll find what you're looking for eventually". Tjo. Left the store without thinking twice.

Drove through from Potchefstroom because I was tild they had a certain book I have been searching for, to find out they have splt their store into two, one being a table in the middle of the mall, I ask the guy if they have the book, I get told it is at the store, in a bag as they have taken it back there for closing time in 40minutes, rushed to the stre and ask for the book. The lady looks through the bags for 10s and gives up, not willing to search any further, I am told she will contact me when she finds it. I drove all the way to the store for nothing, due to unwillingness of staff to search through bags, that they bury books in to transport it between their stalls. Rather upset.

The staff is friendly and they always want to assist and help you find what you looking for.

Time was against me. Did not fully explore. By scanning through store, I notice it to be a great place to visit and spend time looking for wants, needs and relaxation.

Best book store & service in Klerksdorp. If not in stock they order. Staff book knowledge excellent.
