Feeling very anxious about finding a Mother of the Bride dress, Ally was fantastic! She was able to suggest 4 or 5 dresses and the perfect dress was chosen in under an hour! Such AMAZING service. Thank you. Cannot wait to get me dress. I know it will be beautiful. Xxx
I have bought on line twice from Jacoba Clothing. I am plus size and despite being nervous ordering dresses unseen and untried, because of the type of fabric used and the cut, both times the dresses fitted perfectly and where very flattering. The service I received was excellent and reassuring. I communicated with Ally and she went out of her way to accomodate my needs and to make sure the dresses arrived in time for my special occasion. I am so glad a friend referred me to Jacoba, and I in turn highly recommend their dresses.
Absolutely terrible service! If I could give zero stars I would! My mom flew from Joburg to come to the shop, she emailed a few weeks before to confirm that they would be available on the Friday. After a struggle to find the store Google maps took us to the wrong place, we were informed that they were moving today and were unable to assist. When my mom told them that she had emailed to confirm, they were very rude and stated that she must have gotten the date wrong. They then made her wait while they looked up her email. She HAD confirmed for the Friday.. and when they realised this they didn't even apologize!! It was overall a really terrible experience that could have been handled better by the staff.
The clothing is absolutely beautiful. I felt beautiful in my Jacoba dress.The staff were wonderfull and extremely helpfull. I loved the new store and will recommend Jacoba to everybody and will definitely be back soon. Thank you Anna and your team.
What a delightful experience. We called the day before feeling so despondent as we were let down with our original dress choice, & were met with a friendly voice. Visited the following day. With help from the same friendly sweetheart we worked through a few dresses & landed the perfect look. The dress will be ready in a week! So so chuffed
I purchased a Jacoba dress for my mum, she absolutely loved the customer experience provided by the shop assistant and the personalized attention and beautiful garment. My mum is more than happy and looks beautiful. Thank you Ali and the Jacoba team at Jacoba Clothing.
I travelled all the way from Mosselbay to choose an outfit. On arrival the shop assistant was very impatient and intimidating towards me, she kept implying that her idea was better than my personal choice, when I pointed out my colour of choice, she made personal remarks about my body. I felt quite overwhelmed and taken aback about her attitude, I then opted for a colour she insisted on.. when I finally received my outfit, I was devastated, as the colour which was not on the rail at the time is not complimentary at all, and not a colour that I could ever wear again. She could have shown me all their available colour swatches!!! I called to discuss alternative solutions as I am very dissatisfied with the product,, she was not interested, I rudely told me to sell the outfit and buy a another. I was promised a call from the manager, which I'm still waiting for 2 weeks later. I will not recommend Jacoba to any of my network of friends or family. I now shudder to think that I must wear this horrendous outfit to my only child's wedding.

Found the colour dress I wanted but they didn't have my size in stock so I could not really judge how it would fit in the correct size. The floor length dress was too short for me. Sat above my ankle but Jacobas assistant was very helpfull and said the could add on 20 cm length to my dress, change the sleeves if need be or swop one skirt part for another. She was very helpful and gave me good service. 4 stars cause they didn't have my size.
I took my mom to get a mother of the bride dress. We were treated like absolute queens. Sadicka who helped us was exceptional - knew exactly what colours/styles/alterations to suggest. Helpful, hands-on, took her time and truly made this experience memorable. Seldom find stores who take such good care anymore! One happy mother of the bride and bride left their store today!
