It was a birthday celebration, choosing Jamie's was supposed to be something different, something awesome and something out the ordinary, boy was it all that and more. I made my booking via dine plan app and it was simple and smooth. Arrived at the establishment and was greeted by friendly staff. Drinks where on point. From the starters, through to the mains and desert, the food was amazing, full of freshness and flavor. We had nothing but a great evening. Compliments to the establishment and staff. Thank you for an amazing experience.
We had dinner at Jamie’s Italian around Christmas time 2019 to enjoy the Melrose Arch Christmas lights and festivities. A side note, this is a great place to watch the passing parade at Christmas time. I’d heard mixed reviews about this restaurant, and after having had one of my worst meals ever at a Jamie’s chain in the UK, this restaurant was not top of my list to try. However, I’m so pleased we went. The restaurant far exceeded my expectations with good food and drinks. It has a lovely vibe and I look forward to going again
Wow! What a great experience. Jamie's Italian is really worth the trip. The experience and atmosphere is well worth the price. The combination of industrial and art deco design works really well, and the bathrooms are clean and neatly designed. The food is stunning. The Fungi Tagliatelle pasta and Julietta pizza are out of this world. Prices are steep, but the quality is impeccable. Try the Posh Chips, they'll change your life. Really full over the weekends, so beat to book a table beforehand.
Great food, nice location. +food options +pricing Very simple place, I had a casual meal on Sunday. Easy to find table even in a pick time. Very surprised with the Super good salad, unexpected tasty! The veggie burger was OK, the pizza and the ravioli were great. Service is good, the food come out fast and in the right temperature. Only minus we had to ask 3 times for the bill. Overall was good, I would go again.
I really enjoyed the wild mushroom with added chicken fettuccine. The desert was delicious. Great service and beautiful experience overall. The place was packed when we went there but we didn't have to wait long for our food. Definitely going back
The worst experience. I booked at Jamie's for my husbands birthday and arranged with the lady on the phone to do something special for him. The food and service were terrible and ofcourse nothing extra was done to make the celebration more special. When we got there and we looked at the menu we were already considering leaving because the options were limited and not what we expected, but I chose to stay because of the birthday arrangements I made earlier on the phone. The waiter bothered us every 5 minutes until we ordered starters and then took away our menus before we could order mains. I don't know how people felt welcome here. He made us feel really uncomfortable the entire night. Not worth the price. Will never recommend or return.
Deeply disappointed... Jamie is such a great Chef and he's doing an amazing job fighting for better nutrition for the kids but he needs to really take care of his restaurants. Not surprising that many are going out of business. The food was mediocre, steak overcooked and hard, raviolis completely drowned in some souce... Wine expensive and the staff without proper knowledge of their wine selection... Huge disappointment. Pity
Great service, excellent food and best dessert. Had spicy meat balls for starters, their special fillet for mains and chocolate fondant to finish off. Will definitely visit again.
We really enjoyed our Arancini and our two pizzas. The base was perfect - thin and delicate and oh so flavourful. We felt we could eat the base just by itself. Bar stools where we sat were somewhat uncomfortable. Service was quick, friendly, and highly attentive.
Utterly delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere. Celebrated our wedding anniversary here because I love Italian. My husband's life was changed by the Carbonara meal... "spaghetti has never tasted so good".
