Had a lovely Sunday brunch here … beautiful setting under the trees where kids can roam freely. Great veg options with a delicious variety… we loved sipping mimosas while we relaxed the day way. Would recommend if you looking to spend a relaxing brunch under the trees away from the city bustle !Food: 4/5

The High tea option did not meet my expectations. They had ordinary tea like 5 roses and roiboss which I do not drink. They did not have twinning at all. The sweet and savory snacks were plain and ordinary except the tiramiso and carrot cake were very nice. They preselected. We could not select. It was not worth the price. Service and venue were good.

Beautiful part of Joburg. Situated within the Killarney Country Club property. Relaxed atmospher. Was glad to see no bacon on the menu but you can add it to a dish. Breakfast was an unusual menu but really good. They even recommended we order from the main menu.Food: 5/5

The service is superb. The servers are attentive so there are no missed order notes. The food is also delicious and the portions are filling. I have attached a photo of a pasta dish, 'Old Country Road'. It's good but I would not recommend if you do not like tomatoes as it is tomato based. 4.5 stars

The service was great so they got 2 stars. I wasn't impressed with their high tea. They had a poor selections of teas, I was expecting at least a few different types of Twinnings instead of just 5 Roses and Rooibos. The savory selection tasted good but only 4 bites literally. Maybe add another 1 or 2 items. The sweet selection was the most disappointing, too doughy and dry. Only the carrot cake was moist. Their display also blocked your view of the person across from you, but in fairness they said they would get new displays. At R295 per person it was not good value for money. We should have had lunch instead because the food looked good. The venue is good.

We had a super experience here. The staff were incredibly welcoming and knowledgable. The food was cooked to perfection and the drink selection was great. Ricky really went above and beyond looking after us. The venue is great and very romantic and we would go back many times over. Thank you guys!

The venue has outdoor seating and is calm and relaxing. I had the pink salmon with roasted potatoes and ricotta cheese salad. The salmon was prepared well but felt it could have used a bit more seasoning. For dessert I had the Decadent Nutella waffle. The waffle was amazing and came with a strawberry cheese cake ice cream. Just wished there was a bit more of the ice cream but overall a good dessert.

We had such a lovely afternoon in these beautiful gardens. Food was great, service was great! Especially our waitress Patricia, who went out of her way to learn all our names! She was a real treat!! Definitely recommend for a pleasant afternoon out with friends and especially for an occasion. Lovely birthday surprise dessert for our birthday girl

Lovely setting under neath the trees at La Vie, dived into the high tea we had planned. The staff were wonderful and catered to everything including the birthday cake I requested : the chicken livers are to die for!
