The best gynae. He saw us through a high risk pregnancy and delivered a healthy baby boy. He is extremely competent with a very good bedside manner. I felt safe in his hands.

Best gynae in Jhb! Especially if you have complications, he just makes you feel at ease and he is very good at what he does!

Dr Rene did my vaginal histerectomy and TVT 3 weeks ago. I was scared untill the last moment, his bedside manners is out of this world, and I felt at ease to go though with the surgery. Up untill now no pain at all. The staff at Medfem clinic was so professional and Dr Rene is the best. I will recommend Dr Rene without a doubt. Thank you Dr Rene and all his staff. You are the best

No one better than Dr Rene. He safely delivered my twins in February 2019. He saved them at 26w4d with a cervical stitch. I'm with him again for my boy due in February 2021. Would highly recommend him to anyone who asks. Amazing man and amazing Dr!

Absolutely brilliant doctor! His staff are all extremely helpful and just lovely. Dr van Rensburg navigated me through a bumpy start of pregnancy and successfully delivered our baby boy which was in a breach position.

Could not recommend a better doctor, particularly if you have a complicated pregnancy. Extremely experienced and knowledgeable. He safely delivered my son after a high-risk pregnancy.

He is extremely racist! I would not recommend anyone to go to him. I was initially sent to this doctor by a company I worked for and the minute I walked in he was biased against me, I came with detailed documents of my medical history and he said "Argh put those away please girlie" he referred to me as "girlie" throughout and everytime I tried explaining my symptoms and recommendations by previous doctors, he kept saying, "I really don't know what you want me to look at here". At the time I was in excruciating pain and had a period for over 3 months, I was on birth control just to have it stop. This man then wrote a letter back to my boss saying I did not need to go for further check ups as nothing was wrong that couldn't be fixed with hormonal birth control. I went back to the doctor anyway cause I was in extreme pain and could not even sit. The new doctor found that I had endometriosis and PCOS and started treatment immediately. My fertility has been compromised and had this racist man focused on ME AS A PATIENT then all this could've been dealth with earlier. I told him that I would like to fall pregnant and he dismissed it and said "Argh girlie, at just 24". What kind of doctor does that? I have since decided to report him to the authorities. No one deserves to go through the pain and humiliation this man caused me.

Will not be able to get a better person to look after you and your baby! Very professional, has a personal touch and very caring for each patient. You feel and know your and you're babies well being comes first.
