The food at this place was very good. We sat outside on the terrace and had a nice view on the sea. Unfortunately it's close to a busy road. The service was kind. It is possible to build your own burger. The menu features a wide variety of dishes from burgers, fish, and meat to some vegetarian ones.Food: 5/5
Awesome selection of food, their menu caters for all and for whatever you feel like. Pizza was great and so were the pork ribs. Decent beer on tap also. Definitely recommend the ribs.Food: 5/5
Awesome place! Super vibe, amazing staff and excellent management. Sea view bonus! Ordered the new Buddha Bowl on the menu surprised to see it included steak fillet strips so not a vegan dish, take note! and it did not disappoint! Perfect combination of taste and healthy eating. Also ordered the pink gin cocktail and it was refreshing and well presented, cost R85. Ordered my toddler a Margherita pizza R85 as nothing freshly substantial as in kids menu. First we sat outside but the wind picked up so we moved inside. It gets busy after 3pm so go for a decent lunch vibe if you want better indulgence time. Background music was a bit louder inside but the bustle didn't dampen our moods and we left uplifted, satisfied and hoping to return soon! Thank you Jaxx and Gavin and all the staff!
Great food and atmosphere. Our waiter went on lunch shortly after seating us so we were unattended for about 15 mins and no one seemed to realize that. We had to call someone to ask what's going on but the lady that served thereafter was amazing, so 4/5 for service.Food: 5/5
The view is amazing. The menu food wise I personally found very expensive. Drinks were fairly priced and delishous. The food was good but not what I expected. Vegetarian options: Many options available Parking: Open parking in an open plan shopping center Wheelchair accessibility: It could be possible but there were steps into and out of the restaurant - you will need assistance if you can not tip yourself
An absolute gem! The staff were super friendly and the food was amazing and so beautifully presented. I would highly recommend the Fhungi Pizza if you like a little bit of a kick. The wings for a starter was a winner....whatever dipping sauce we were provided with was excellent. Do yourself a favour and order the R&R from the cocktail menu. Looks and tastes like happiness. Keep on doing what you guys are doing!
What a FANTASTIC restaurant! My family and I were on our way to the Dino Park and stopped for a quick breakfast before heading out to our adventure. We were driving in from Durban, so we were hungry. Thank goodness we found JAXX RESTAURANT. Coffee - OUT OF THIS WORLD. If you come from out of town, and you're looking for a great cup of coffee, look no further. Milkshakes - MADE TO PERFECTION. No one likes a gross milkshake - too thin or too thick makes everyone sad. My mom and the Lime, and my little one had the chocolate. They were both absolutely decadent. Breakfasts - the 3 adults opted for different variations of the JAXX breakfast. I judge a breakfast according to how the eggs are cooked. We ordered sunny side up eggs, scrambled eggs and well done eggs. All of them were cooked to perfection. No watery scrambled eggs at this restaurant. My little boy had the omelette, and polished it off happily. And thats saying something - he NEVER finishes his food. Service was excellent. Our waiter was so friendly. Kindness oozed from everyone who was of service today. We'll absolutely be back. Husband and I had a look at the mains and are quite literally now looking at accommodation options close to this jewel of a place just so that we can come for dinner. Well done!
Great restaurant on the South Coast of Natal. Deck seating with great views of the ocean. They serve everything from , and ribs. All reasonable priced. Highly recommended to try their pizzas. First time visit to Jaxx. Very friendly staff and a good food selection on the menu. I had the Rustica pizza which was served on a wooden board with a pizza cutter so you can cut slices how big you want them. Great sea view as Jaxx is on the first floor as seen from the main road. Access is easy. Portions are a good size and prices are reasonable.
Great breakfast… The restaurant has a lovely ambience. Fireplace! Loved the background music. Poached eggs was perfect. Coffee was great!
