Very nice quite place with a cool breeze on the deck. Delicious food definitely value for money. Staff are friendly and give good service. One thing they can improve is rinsing the glasses better a bit of residue from the dishwasher detergent

It's been done up really well the waitress we had was really nice. Drinks are cheap and nice and cold but sadly our food was the same...cold. the burger I had they said was gourmet but personally it was pretty standard and bland. My girlfriend's cannelloni dish wasn't nice at all. But we will be back and hopefully it will be a better experience.
Was really surprised and delighted with this pub. Their prices are fair and the staff and locals give the place a nice atmosphere. Their calamari and the sauce that comes with it is fantastic. Would've given 5 stars just for the calamari.
Absolutely disgusted. Waitress was rude, and had a lot of attitude to give us. Yes there was load shedding which we understood, and therefore decided not to eat anything as what we wanted was not possible having the oven not available. However when we said we were not going to eat she gave us big attitude. When the electricity came back on at 8, I asked the waitress to check if we can order the food. She comes back to take our order. All I asked is if it is possible to do a closed pie instead of a pot pie. Instead of actually going to the kitchen to ask if its possible she just straight up says no it comes as it comes. Because of how rude she was we decided not to eat and she said "good" when we told her we not going to eat. So I asked her to call the manager. As she calls the manager, she is ranting to him about how difficult we are as customers. Even though we were sitting outside we could hear every word she said. Manager comes to us and we explain everything to him. No apology was given for her attitude. Manager did not do much about her attitude even though he was sitting at the table next to us and heard her. Manager looked like could have possibly been the owner aswell. She brought us the bill without us asking, when I told her we never asked for the bill she told us we can pay as she is not going to serve us. And as she walks away she waves her hand at us basically saying "shoo". Personally, as I work in this industry myself this was very disgusting. If I was the waitress that acted like this I would be fired on the spot. I will not be going back. If I could give 0 stars I would.
My wife and 2 others I was with ordered the eisbein . Did not enjoy it at all way too tuff as if they roasted it and then deep fried it but was overdone. Other than that great place to hang out and chips are nice
Best fish and chips in Port Shepstone and we tried quite a few different places. We enjoyed a generous serving of fresh and perfectly cooked seafood served with the most delicious tartare sauce. And the chips are the best we’ve had in the whole of South Africa! Thank you!
