The food was great, service was amazing. My waiter was exceptional. She went the extra mile to ensure that I got my order in time. The lover's platter is my go to and the succulent and tasty 600g ribs.
Very friendly waiter, closing time was 8pm and we arrived around 7:30pm he made an effort to ensure our order was completed before closing time. Food was fresh and tasty.

The place is clean and the waitresses are very kind.
This is usually my go- to for a chilled scrumptious lunch in a little cozy corner. The food is usually impeccable and so is the service. Today however I was appalled at the number of green flies in the restaurant. It was difficult to finish my meal, let alone enjoy it- having had to keep shooing the rather large and disgusting and potentially harmful a space they spread salmonella easily flies away from my plate. I’m not sure what was going with you guys today but this was definitely disappointing as I really do enjoy John Dorys.

What an inconvenience for me to drive all the way from Southridge to John Dory’s only to get there closed at 18h00 while your webpage says you close at 19h00 on Sundays. Waste of petrol and waste of time. Please correct your working hours because this shows carelessness and inconsideration.
I've been to this restaurant often between 2018 and 2020. In 2018 when I first relocated I usually ordered takeaways. In 2020 however I've had a few sit in experiences and boy was I disappointed. I always get the same waitress who never introduces herself. She's simply lethargic. The food is very nice but the service is appalling. The only friendly face in that restaurant is the current manager. I'm so sad to say this - they are just not improving.
