Fantastic camp overlooking the river bed, kalahari nights with the sounds of jackal, well thought out camp with solar and gas. Jan, the camp manager does that bit extra to make it a wonderful experience. Well done Jan Rooms: 5/5
Really worth staying. Peaceful and a fine place to restart your mind.Rooms: 5/5
On our bucket list for a few years. Loved it. Very well maintained, clean ans the tents come fully equipped. Just take your clothes, food and refreshments. You won't be sorry...
It was great experience. No electrical ports so ensure that your phone & camera is well charged in advance. No air condition but it gets cool at night. Nice place to be with roaring of lion closerby, what an experience. Loved it there. View of gemsbok, wildebeest & impala from your tent.
Beautiful! This is a camp with no fences so it is a real special experience. We had a black back jackal sit right by the short wall. Amazing! The units are well maintained and spacious. The only irritation was the noisy neighbors on both ends and the fact that you constantly need to hand in and fetch your permit between drives since someone isn't always at the office to collect your permit again.
We really enjoyed our stay, but the only negative was the unfortunate lack of aircon or a ceiling fan, due to the fact it was a solar powered camp. The 39° temperature at 5pm made it totally unbearable.
A big thank you to Jan from SAN Parks, who was very helpful & proactively attended to some items requiring repair in our unit. What an awesome location to spend 3 nights, with much roaring from the lion with his lioness around the camp site on the the final night! What a treat then to see the pair in the early morning walking on the nearby dune as we departed!
Possibly our favourite camp. Great views of the Auob riverbed with a waterhole visible from some units. The camp is managed well and the sleeping areas were comfortable. No heaters but plenty blankets. The kitchenette was well equipped but a fresh drinking water supply would be a bonus. The camp is showing it's age but renovations were ongoing.
Amazing quiet location to sit on our veranda and watch the wildlife come to us no need to go on a drive. The cheeky camp jackle had as enthralled for hours and watching the mongoose sunbathing on a cold morning was special
Amazing! Great accommodation and awesome wildlife!
