Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park

Always an amazing place to come and visit. Situated in a point between Botswana and Namibia. This park is absolutely stunning. If you would like to go on the 4x4 trails do book well in advance as it is always booked. They also have open camps where you camp in the wild within fences. That is just an incredibly treasured memory for me. Come here every year and would come back again.

The best place in South Africa!! My newest favorite place!! It was amazing, we saw a few storm clouds move over, the field and animals look amazing. Saw almost everything. Would recommend staying inside the park, As you can start the day a bit early and catch more animals in the morning.

Amazing park. Astonishing desert scenery and plenty of wildlife. A remote locations makes it also much less busy and crowded however advance booking of accommodation is still recommended.

The Kgalagadi never disappoints. Beautiful nature and animals. Always fun camping and enjoying special family time. This place makes the best memories.

Had a great overnight stay at Twee Rivieren. Accommodation was comfortable. Loved the game park. Took a 4x4 trail over the sand dunes which was a wonderful experience. Highly recommended

Beautiful park with several neat rest stops and picnic spots. The chalets and camping grounds were all neat and clean and staff were friendly everywhere. Highly recommended for a visit!

We had a great time in the Kgalagadi. Lots of animals and birds to see, even in the 40+ heat of summer. The roads are good but very sandy, you need to lower your tyre pressure. And drive slowly, animals like to run across. The staff at the Tweerivieren entrance and restaurant were super friendly. If you've never been there you need to do it, it's an experience!

The park is out of this world really amazing. Pretty good facilities, Only let down by it’s restaurant, lovely people terrible food and I’ve eaten at most parks, I don’t expect much but shooo!! Sanparks help them out, that’s all they need. Oh and no kitchen at Mata-Mata.

A special place, but Kruger still has my heart! That’s the only reason why Kgalagadi gets 4 stars. Would love to venture further into the Botswana side one day. A perfect camping trip with my dad and brother!
