Kalapeng Pharmacies is the biggest black owned chain of pharmacies in South Africa today.
The Kalapeng retail division consists of 11 growing pharmacies situated in the provinces of Gauteng, Mpumalanga and Limpopo. The Kalapeng pharmacies offer a range of prescription items, over the counter medication as well as various product lines in our front shops. The main attraction is our extensive range of quality herbal remedies.
Our Green Cross department is growing month by month and we periodically have very good specials and we urge you to visit our stores regularly to check them out.
We also offer a free delivery service for medicines dispensed and to be delivered within a 10km radius of our Pharmacies. The pharmacies have two main delivery times, all orders received before 10h00 will be delivered by 12h00 and all orders before 13h00 will be delivered by 15h00. Kalapeng pharmacies also have an “express pick up service” for the convenience of our clients. Feel free to email, fax or call us with your orders, these will be filled and ready for collection at our “express pick service counter”, avoiding any queues or delays.
Our Pharmacists and staff are all graduates of our new course called “Ubuntu “(Humanity) course, which is being offered by the South African Pharmacy Council accredited provider Black IQ Training. Black IQ training offers this specially developed course, only to our staff to ensure the service of highest quality known to people of African descent.
We pride ourselves on the good service that our patients and clients enjoy every day. We have a big book filled with compliments from our happy and satisfied clientele, displayed at our offices.The Black IQ Group also has a wholesale division for the convenience of its own pharmacies. The PBM wholesaler supplies and distributes pharmaceutical and medical or pharmacy related products to all Kalapeng pharmacies to ensure that our pharmacies are adequately stocked to enable them to continually provide the efficient service to our clients as they always have.
