Love love being here! It does not feel part of town at all. Surrounded by lush green grass and hundreds of trees and only the bushveld as neighbours…Oh my word and the view of the sunset over the bushveld is something to behold. With no load-shedding, you will forget you are in SA…. and its pet friendly for all the animal lovers out there. Large groups welcome. Accomodation for groups of up to 80 people.

The owners had excellent hospitality. I had enjoyed my stay. The scenery was beautiful and I was very impressed with how relaxing it was. They are completely off the grid and had a full solar system installed , I had no problems with warm water whatsoever. The finished renovation was brilliant. They will surely see me again.Rooms: 4/5

I had stayed here for a few nights, and enjoyed it, there was hot water every night, and we had electricity when there was loadshedding in town. The owners were kind. I highly recommend it. I will definitely come back soon.Rooms: 4/5

This has been the worst guest house I have ever stayed in. Our family had to be moved to different rooms because our room was "damaged during the rain". The rooms we got was overfill with furniture and none of the amenities worked - no aircon no windows, no TV and no hot water. The beds were the worst I ever slept in in my life and I expected a spring to stick through the covers. The price is far from worthy of the cheap motel room we had to endure. We could not leave fast enough. It is a pity that there is not an option for no stars.

Nice setting and quiet, mostly. We had no issues with the dogs in general, they are actually well behaved and never entered our room, a gentle "no" was always enough if one wanted to venture further than the door, but, they were going crazy during the evening. We had to get up early the next morning as we had a long day ahead of us but sleep was difficult with the dogs having a good old chinwag the entire night, I'm sure they sorted out all the issues in the neighborhood... I get that they are security... I missed the bit where the advert mentions that if you don't like dogs to stay away, this has now been noted and will be kept in mind for the next trip through Zeerust. We also had no internet during our stay. The Owner did try and help, she did appologise, she allowed us to check in earlier, she was always friendly and always replied when I messaged her. This is a very mixed review but an honest one, still scoring above average...

There is many places to go and lodges to stay in South Africa. But when it comes to friendliness and hospitality you will struggle to find anything like this lodge. If you want peace and beauty this is the place to go. Thank Liezel and family for looking after me.Rooms: 5/5

Wonderfully peaceful home away from home. The host couple are caring and friendly and happy to accommodate requests. There is a beautiful garden with pool, well equipped large bedrooms, pets to keep you company and delicious home cooked food.

Had a terrible experience. The bed was full of dog hair and not clean!! Owner replaced only duvet and not fitted sheet. Bed was still full of dog hair. The mugs and kettle was also dirty. Dirty marks on the walls. There was a problem with the plumming, shower overflowed when bath was draining leaving a terrible smell. Was nothing like the photo's we saw before booking. Was very dissapointed! No value for money.
