It is in the bush very quiet. If you are after hotel luxury then this place is not for you. We stayed in one of the three tents. The tent is very basic with two single beds a small drawer cabinet to store some small things and a small table. The bathroom has a shower, basin and toilet. The kitchen is a communal one with four fridges and all the pots and pans you will require to do your cooking. You can walk around the area during the day and view the bushman paintings on the rocks. Wild animal’s roam freely, just take care. Kaoxa is only a ten minute drive tfrom the Mapungubwe National Park. Wood at the reort is available, so no need to take your own. There is no shop or restaurant inside or near the place. Take enough drinking water you are going to need it, the day temperature comes close to 40C

This place was just needlessly grim; rather than being rustic & charming, it was dirty, bug infested & suffered from seriously useless staff. It could have been great, when one considers the surroundings, but it really failed to deliver.

The best place around mapungubwe area. Very quite and clean. Very friendly stuff.
