We had a great camping stay. Gail and Al were brilliant hosts and the all facilities not only worked extremely well but had been lovingly and carefully thought about. Fine details and extra thought everywhere. Gracious was great too. Highly recommended.
If you enjoy seclusion, rustic and different, then Zvakanaka is the place for you. The owners go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. There are lovely walks and plenty of bushbuck around. Please note that the bush tracks inside the camp are very bumpy, so you need to go very slowly.Service: 5/5
WOW!!!. Thanks to Gail our stay was lekker. The view of the Mountain and the cabin with flowers was amazing. This was a well, enjoy weekend away from all the stres. You will see us soon.Rooms: 5/5
Wonderful location with probably the best camping we've experienced. Allocated secluded spaces with shelter, cooking, washing, showers, brai, and very nice owners and staff. Great experience overall. We've used this three times now and will return. Hghly recommended! Safety: Very secure bush setting.
So very nice. They really went out of their way to make the whole place comfortable for their guests. We were camping and also went on the hiking trail. The camping facilities are great for people who don’t want to work hard. Everything is electrified. They give you the basics to make fire. There were very few people when we went so it was pretty quiet in terms of humans making noise. There’s a little wifi cafe which I found useful at 4am when I needed to do some work. The only big issue I had was how absolutely loud the road noise is from the N1. I literally left my very quiet suburban house in Johannesburg to drive 4 hours to sleep at a place that sounded like we were sleeping right next to the tarmac with trucks passing at least every 30 minutes. I did not sleep peacefully at all for all the nights there.
Wow what a nice place to stay. Camping or chalets. So near to the nature, you can enjoy the mountain every day. Your hiking trails was such a nice surprise. We used the camping site. The under roof kitchen and separate bathrooms is first class. Thank you very much!Rooms: 5/5

What a great camping experience! Gail and Al are wonderful hosts and went out of their way to make us comfortable and settle us down. They are very knowledgeable of local areas to visit, and we happily followed their advice. The campsites are private and have stunning views of the Soutpansberg. The ablutions are clean and well maintained. There is also lovely alternative accommodation available if you do not want to camp. Conveniently close to the N1 if you just want a stop over. Hiking trails through the forest are stunning and we had breath taking views from the top of the mountain, and the birdlife is really good.

What an incredible campsite. Gail and Al have an great eye for detail and everything you may need is available, clean and working. The sites are secluded and we had a great great view on the Soutpansberg! The hiking trail was well marked and fun for the kids as well. A big thanks to Gail for all the information to explore Limpopo, and to Al for helping us out with the van as well as travel tips for Zimbabwe!! We had a perfect stay.
