Villa Grande Lodge

Very neat and clean with a lovely welcome when we arrived!! Lovely pool. Open kitchen for all guests. Little private fridges in the rooms. We had a lot of noise as our room backed onto the back of spar and there is a sort of sitting area for people who eat and drink, so not entirely ideal, but having said that, it is ideal for getting into main town by foot so easily.

This place is good. Laid back chilled atmosphere and the breakfast is comparable to other reputable establishments. The ladies serving in the kitchen are very hospitable.

I booked for 1 night stay on the 23rd of December 2022 and i had a peaceful night but the problem was the dog i couldnt go to the kitchen or swimming pool cause the dog was roaming around...the following day in the morning on the 24th of December i went to the kitchen around 08:30 in the morning cause i wanted to warm up my foof the dog came again and it was barking at me and i was scared so i grabed a chair trying to protect my self but the receptionist screemed at me telling me that i will hurt the dog and the dog doesnt like me..fast forward to when i checked out i asked to sit outside near the parking cause i was waiting for my cousin to come pick me up and the receptionist told me that i shouldnt take too long cause she wants to exercise with the dog before 12 noon... she said her dog is struggling because she had to lock it in because of me..and then she asked me literally kicked me out and asked me to wait outside the gate cause she wanted to exercise...i had to wait outside in the sun scared of bypassers..i was mistreated and i will never go there again...the receptionist chose the dog over me

Had a peaceful stay at Villa Grande...the room was clean has everything that one need especially for work travel. Aircon and Fridge always welcome. Also liked the fact that they had a kitchen set up for guests to use...Love it. Also appreciated the kitchen staff getting breakfast done warm and intime before loadshedding kicked in...Thank you

If you want to relax and rest then this is the place. Spar right next door. Staff and reception incredibly friendly and helpful. Price very good for the beauty of the gardens and entertainment area. I'll visit again soon.

Stayed here while my mum was in.hospital for an entire week. Though it wasn't home, it felt like home away from home, the staff and owners where amazing. Its also located in.a quiet, easy to find secure area, n close to a shopping complex and short drive to the hospital.. They wer going through a couple renovations im sure its even more stunning. Would definitely recommend one stays here

They have old beds and the towels are linen is too old as well. Showers are too old as well they have inoperative aircon which are too old as well and a stinking carpet. The receptionist is an arrogant lady who dnt know how to talk to people. They serve the worst breakfast ever. They serve the same thing every day. They dnt even listen to complaints regarding their food.

Beautiful garden, pool and rooms. Close amenities. The staff is friendy as well as great service. Definitely recommend!!Rooms: 4/5

Average service received. Room I stayed in was a bit outdated with a stained carpet and was difficult to find stable water pressure for the shower... Brrrrrrrrrr! - Ouch! - Brrrrrrrrrr! Food served for breakfast wasn't very appetising but staff were friendly. Beautiful well-kept gardens.
