"At the beginning of 2013 KDBC started on small scale experimenting with all beer styles. It took more than two years to brew the perfect beer.KDBC was formally established in 2015 and the search for a commercially craft brewery started. In 2016 we completed the building for the brewery.In 2016 KDBC purchased “Die Wilgers” an existing bar located next to the river and In 2017 we established the KDBC Pub & Grub and officially changed the name.We're not only about the beer: we're about the experience. We're about connecting with people from all around the world. We're about great drinks, amazing food, and sharing all of that with your friends and family."

I would have enjoyed it, if they didn't charge different prices compared to the menu, and actually provide a better "tasting" experience.

Epic location for some beers, gin and lunch. Great view of the river and space for the kiddos to run around. Love the dogs that make it feel like your back garden. Kid-friendliness: Space to play on the grass and a jungle gym
Beautiful scenery. Craft beers were warm. Felt ripped off with the food. Ordered two baskets one of chicken strips R75 and the other of Halloumi fries R80. When the so called baskets arrived we received 4 chicken strips and 3 halloumi fries. Photo below. If you want a place with a beautiful view, warm beers and expensive food. This is the spot for you Rather go to the golfcourse up the road. Beautiful view, cold beers and delicious food .
Awesome place, definitely worth the visit. We appreciated that George opened up for us on their off day and gave us some and gin. You just have to go there to experience their hospitality for yourself.
What a lovely spot, relaxing riverside venue with indoor and outdoor seating. Great food and excellent range of Craft Beer. A must stop.
My first time visit, and it was fantastic! Tested the different craft beers and gin, and afterwards had a mixed grill for lunch. Food was well prepared, with the steak I ordered prepared to my exact specifications. The waitress that assisted us was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The place is well looked after. Was so impressed that I left buying a bottle home brewed gin...
The place is so charming and relaxing. Perfect for getting out of the norm and town. Perfect place to take kids with friendly dogs greeting you and a nice play ground for them. The food was great! Aswell and the friendly service. After visiting it was nice enough that I want to share it with all my family and friends !
Lovely cozy, intimate venue. Excellent food and craft beer, and even better service. A jewel in the Northern Cape. Wishing them much success for years to come.
