I have been in this hospital so many times but the service that we received on the 26 December 2021 from 01h00. was outstanding. The Indian short Doctor and the African male nurse at the Casualty that assisted us with Blood pressure and all other things. Thank you - Keep up the good work!!!! Your service was was phenomenal!!
It's the first time in have been to this hospital and that was for my covid 19 vaccination. My gosh, the nurses carrying out the process, paper work and the actual vaccination itself were so amazing! Everyone of them. I was so scared, but they were the sweetest people I have ever met and I'm so grateful for them. They made us all feel so comfortable and happy at every single step. Thank you thank you thank you so much. I hope those ladies are blessed abundantly with everlasting happiness and thank you for your support and being there for the community #Respect #Love...I wish I could have hugged them! Take care and stay blessed. Praying that we all get though this together and be happy again! Love and light! Prelina
The Hospital deserves no stars at all, I thought RK Khan was bad at least they had the decency to give you warm porridge and sugar, their tea came with milk and sugar not just black tea. Than had an experience with King Dinizulu Hospital. No sugar in your porridge neither is it warm, black tea with no milk or sugar either and you are only served a spoon of rice with curry that has raw Vegetables. What I don't understand is how can one Hospital differ from the other and still belongs to the same Government.
Had a very good experience with both Both Doctors and nurses. They were friendly and always willing to help. My concern is mainly cleanliness and maintenence especially in areas as sensitive as bathrooms are toilets
This hospital deserves no stars. I gave birth at this hospital exactly a year ago and I'm finally strong enough to speak up about my traumatising experience. Being heavily pregnant and scheduled for a c section the next day I was told to come in the day before at 6am and book a bed. Thereafter was made to carry my own hospital bags up to the ward. Mind you I had to carry stuff for 3 days including home food coz it was the peak of covid and we were not allowed any visitors! I sure wasn't going to eat boiled raw food! Apart from carrying my heavy bags and being heavily pregnant. The so called guard who supposedly was to help carry it sat and slept with his mouth opened. So much for security! The trauma? I gave birth to my first child via c section at a private hospital and that is why I know that everything I experienced was Not supposed to happen! I had a young Indian female anesthetist who gave me my epidural, after a while they tapped my stomach and by that time I was supposed to be numb already.. I told her I can feel you guys touching my stomach, she blatantly refused to listen to me. They started with the insition, slowly cutting me and i am screaming in pain. She insisted that I was lying and that if I could feel pain I would be dead by now. Slowly I turned over to the screen, while drifting away I see my heart rate dropping on the screen... I lose consciousness at the shock of feeling them cutting me open. I wake up again. I hear shouting, a young trainee male nurse fainted during my procedure! Idk for goodness sake how long I was left cut open, although I was drowsy I could feel them pulling my organs aside and pulling the baby! I hear screaming again.. The baby was In distress. They decided to slit my stomach in order to maneuver the baby, while pulling him out by his head!! During this traumatising farce. When I finally looked at my Babyboy he had scars all over his tiny face. And now a year later. I suffer with pains around all of my organs. My husband sent me for the best private check ups but nobody can seem to know what causes the pain! Unqualified Trainee nurses and doctors who don't know what the hell they are doing. Practicing for the first time on people and putting our lives at risk!! I'm just glad my baby and I are alive ! This is not the experience any woman should face while bringing a life into this world.
I gave birth to my third child at this hospital and I must say upon going to antenatal check ups I did not experience these nurses to be friendly/ helpful! when giving normal birth it was the most horrendous experience ever, I felt dehydrated, they put me on a drip because the nurses there refused to pass my water which was next to my bed side I couldnt reach it! None of them wanted to hold my hand through the procedure! Absolutely terrible staff, seems they only nice to black people that already know to be silent while being in labour or giving birth! Absolutely pathetic!
The new set up for COVID screening, masks, sanitizers and social distancing is perfect. I must compliment management on that, I felt safe attending the hospital a few days ago. HOWEVER do the nurses know they are public servants, they chose their job, I did not ask them to be nurses. They are ALWAYS talking, My word sitting for 3 hours in one place listening to loud screaming from one end to the other is not comforting, especially since the people in that que are sick, I dont attend there to look at their unwelcoming faces. Furthermore you would think its them who own the hospital, they behave that way. There are signs up indicating time frames our rights as a patient, their commitment as a health facility. hahaha they wasting paper, their staff dont give a damn about it.
I am so grateful. After trying for about a week to get through to the hospital, eventually someone answered the the call. I left a message and I got a call back from the pharmacy, Shra, she said my script had gone missing. She managed to get another script sorted out within a day and with her own challenges at the hospital. Always friendly and helpful. And I was able to pick up my meds today that was due for collection on the 15th July. Thank you so much
The service received deserves NO STARS. But I am forced to give them one to post my review. The hospital has been upgraded nicely, however the staff some, especially those I encountered during my visit and stay lack both compassion and empathy. If anyone can please help me get in touch with some I can speak to about my stay at the hospital and the staff I encountered, your help would be much appreciated. As I would like to lay a formal complaint against these individuals. Never would I refer anyone here regardless of the upgrade. Utterly disgusted
Terrible experience... I was a first time mum... Carried my baby for a full term with no complications. After getting admitted a series of events occurred which led to an emergency c section...My baby had passed away after a day due to the hospitals negligence my file was taken away by the nurses and doctors after I gave birth!
