Knead Muizenberg

Went for breakfast with friends. The food was good. Enjoyed the vegetarian burger, it was tasty and a decent portion size. Had to do take aways. Good coffee but wouldn't suggest any additional changes might end up to pay R55 for a large coffee with different milk. Lovely view overlooking the Muizenberg beach and huts.

Popped in for a brunch. Window seat chosen to do some people watching, as one does! We settled on the poke chicken bowl and chicken strips in buttermilk with fritters. It is the small things that elevate this establishment: Finely chopped mint and pineapple in the slaw, seriously complex sauces Korean Gochujang and citrus ponzu dressing and just generally well presented & fresh food. Amazing service, excellent value for the quality. Perfect coffee and squeezed juice. Highly recommended.

Good for a casual bite to eat, has free wifi. Service good. Good view and beach access. Have handmade chips which are nice bathrooms were dirty

Knead bakery looked inviting from the outside and that's why I went inside. However their food was so disappointing. The chicken mayo toasties had large slides of tomato inside and gherkin big enough to puck out. The cake was doughy and icing tasted soggy....yikes the only thing I enjoyed was the latte. Even the spring water I oderded which arrived with glass that smelled like fish was repulsive. Won't be back here again. Minus 9 on my foodies list

The restaurant was not in a clean condition. The bathrooms was very untidy and felt dirty. The windows overlooking the ocean view was dirty. I know it takes allot to clean, but if you decide to create a ocean view with nice clear windows you need to keep it clean. Always. Food was okay, but if you call a place Knead, you expect the best in pastries which we did not find.

Perfection! Perfect food- they serve almost anything, perfectly situated you can actually see the people surfing. Service has always been excellent. When busy parking can be tricky, but with a bit of patience you'll find a spot. After your meal there is aromatic coffee after which you can go for a nice long walk on the beach. Knead is surrounded by surfshops and most offer surfing lessons.

Great place for breakfast and meals in general. Service staff is happy to assist you and always follow up. Food served was delicious. I had breakfast eggs were done as per my liking with really tasty cappuccino. Definitely recommend. Sorry I didn't take photos of the bakery and meals.

I have been a regular customer at Knead for years, and I have always been impressed with the quality of the coffee, the insanely good baked goods best I've found anywhere and the friendly service. Recently, I had the unfortunate experience of being involved in an armed robbery at the shop. This was an unprecedented event that could have happened anywhere and by no means reflects any lack of safety or security of Kneads' premises. Despite the high-stress and dangerous situation, the management and staff at Knead remained incredibly calm and professional. They even went above and beyond by including me in the insurance claim and reimbursing me for my losses. Good businesses, led by good people need to be recognized and the staff at Knead truly exemplify the kindness, professionalism and integrity that we can all strive for. I am grateful for their care and concern, and will be a customer for life. In the wake of the robbery, the restaurant has also taken steps to beef up their security, which gives me even more peace of mind when visiting. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by Knead for a delicious cup of coffee and a warm welcome from the friendly and compassionate staff.

The food and coffee was good. The high ceilings do contribute to noise issues inside the restaurant. Management's failure to anticipate end-of-month payday weekend crowd led to too few waiters and staff. Chaos. It took a lot of patience and good company to endure our visit.
