If it were possible to give negative stars I would. We drove an entire hour out of our way just to see the place and weren't permitted entry because my 8 MONTH OLD BABY wasn't wearing a mask. When we tried to explain she's just a baby the guy there, who can hardly understand or speak English I might add told us and I quote "She is human."
Amazing. So clean and the workers are very friendly. What a wonderful outing
Was a interesting stop. A lot of work has gone into fixing up the little village and old hotel. Lots of information on display of Pres Paul Kruger, very basic, no entrance fee was charged and if anything it's a good stop to stretch legs on your journey.
A great landmark in South African history. This is where Paul Kruger lived in the time he was preparing for his exile.
Very well kept, gardens lovely but wooden floor and stairs need work as they are dangerous
Was at Wayside lodge finishing with the work.
Information rich. Worth the 20min stop.
Well kept house, but only the two roomed house with photo's to view.
It was OK. Nothing special. It lacked the wow factor.
Great 0lace to sharpen your knowledge of SA history
