La La Nathi Country Guesthouse HARRISMITH, Free State

I stayed here with my boyfriend while visiting his family who lives nearby in Harrismith last December. We stayed in the Makoti luxury suite. It was very nice with lots of storage in wooden cabinets. I wish we took more photos of the room because it was absolutely beautiful with the windows on both sides, high ceilings, and fireplace. I loved the thatched roof. It was very interesting for me to watch a hail storm from our private balcony! I was visiting from America, so thatched roofs and hail storms are a novelty for me. The pool was clean and refreshing. It was nice walking around the property and viewing the ostriches. We enjoyed the spa tub and fire place in the evenings. We ate at the restaurant the first night and got room service the second night. Honestly, we were not too crazy about the food. The only other issue we had was the sound of traffic from the nearby highway, but it was easy to ignore considering all the other beauty with the gardens and architecture.

This was just a stay-over for us on our way to the coast. But it was definitely worth it. Such beautiful surroundings. The most beautiful gardens... Food was worth a try and the unit we were in was clean and neat and comfortable. Worth the stay!! Loved all the different species of hydrangeasHotel highlightsGreat value

What a wonderful little gem! This place is right next to the road on your way to KZN but it feels 'hidden' to make you feel as if you are in a resort in the bush. Very affordable, spacious and everything-you-need sleepover : Thank you for making our trip even more memorable!

What a lovely oasis more or less halfway between Pretoria and Durban. From the lovely surroundings, the beautiful gardens, the green lawns, beautiful flowers and trees to the very clean rooms. If it all possible we would definitely stay there again.Rooms: 5/5

Dineo had been amazing, we had been there for a wedding early May and she is te reason we will be going back! She had helped us with everything we asked and always with a smile. La La Nathi is blessed to have her there-thanks Dineo for your going beyond to make sure we had a special weekend.

Myself and my favorite person in the world spend a couple of nights in the Makoti room. It is breathtakingly beautifull, austetically very pleasing. Fireplace gave the room a nice glow in the evenings. Bathtub made from some relaxing vibes. Romantic room and great setting. Enjoyed walking on the grounds and taking in the views. A must visit room. Food at the restaurant was delicious and home feel to it. Very friendly and helpful staff. Thanks so much for making our time together even better! Hope to visit again someday!

1st time at La La Nathi and we love it. Rooms are clean, beds are comfy, food is good, staff is friendly, beautiful gardens. And all the wooden furniture is lovely. We will definitely be sleeping over here every trip we make to and from the coast.Rooms: 5/5

Very wonderful area with beautiful scenery. The room was nice and dark, but the geyser made loud noises. The staff at the restaurant wasn't very attentive and we had to wait very long despite the restaurant being empty besides one other person that was by himself, but the food was thankfully very tasty.Rooms: 4/5
