The vibe & ambiance, the food and flavors, the staff and service - this place is absolutely delightful and is adding so much to the Lausanne restaurant scene. Being from California and living in CH for over a decade, I've missed authentic Mexican cuisine - most places steer clear of spice or too much flavor...not here. You can order anything from the menu and not be disappointed. Walter & Jasmine and the team have figured it out.
Went on Saturday evening and arrived a bit early but was seated right away. Vibe was just starting up around 20:00 so if you want to go and don't have a reservation certainly go earlier. Great space, love the decor with the ambiance. Service was super friendly and inviting. Food was fun, creative and delicious. Had the corn and chicken drumsticks chicken is spicy so be warned for those sensitive palates, shrimp tacos and the short rib tacos full of flavour. Loved the beverage offerings and lots of tequila or mezcal to pick from. Had a couple different cocktails and slightly too sweet but that was an easy fix but we're definitely spirit forward . Overall we had a great time and didn't want to leave. Keep with the vibes and fun music please.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at La Parada, and it was truly a wonderful experience. I’m Colombian and was really looking forward to this restaurant opening, and I have time to say I am absolutely impressed! The Latin American cuisine was amazing - the tacos were to die for! The ambiance was fun and the decoration was great, giving the restaurant an authentic feel. I highly recommend La Parada to anyone looking for a unique and delicious dining experience. We went as a group and tried many different dishes. The ceviche was another favorite, and the starters were all delicious. The drinks were really good too, specially the margaritas. The staff was so nice and friendly - always with a smile. Honestly; the music, the smiles, the great food and drinks and the ambiance transported me back to latin America. What a fun evening! We had a really good time and I look forward to returning soon!
Yum. In a word - the tasty, unfussy and well-curated Latin food in cool setting - that was missing in Lausanne. Cocktails that look as good as they taste. An assortment of salsas - milder to spicy - but none that are bland. And a relaxed, helpful and kind group of servers. We’ve rarely met staff that are more attentive and good natured here.
Such a wonderful experience. The staff was absolutely amazing and really stand out for the Lausanne standards, the food was made with so much love and knowledge of the Mexican cuisine. Most delicious and efficient margaritas I’ve tried in Switzerland, and the atmosphere and decor made for a wonderful night with friends or loved ones. 15/10
Great experience, wonder service, excellent service
We had a very fun night at LaParada! There was a great atmosphere from the moment we walked in, the cocktails were amazing and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the shrimp tacos :p
Delicious food, cocktails, beers and fun feel good atmosphere - everything you need for a night out with friends. La Parada we’ll be regular guests.
Finally made it to this place after months of salivating and it lived up to high taste bud expectation. Delicious cocktails, amazing food and service and it was buzzing. In January! Bravo Jasmine and team. Another gem on the Lausanne food map. We will be back.
