La Provence Guesthouse

I have stayed here a couple of times but this week it was horrible, everything was sub standard. From the bedding to how the bed was made, to the empty air freshener in the toilet. The small roll of toilet paper, the brand of coffee in the room one small sachet and one sachet of creamer with mugs that does not justify the amount of coffee and creamer provided. Maybe they trying to cut costs but they should find ways to do so without compromising their standards. I will not mention breakfast, what a let down!

A beautifully clean accommodation on your way to Cape Town. The hostess and staff were kind hearted and made us feel right at home. The rooms were clean and stylishly decorated. I wish I could give them 6 stars for their hospitality. Safety was on the top of their list with CCTV cameras that watch over your cars. Would definitely highly recommend.

Would love to give it a 5 star but they are too stringent! Cameras like you are being guarded! Biggest downer here is the bar & visitor issue... Internationally we know hung towels are for reuse and used towels on the floor means requisition of clean towel/s. Sign says floor slippery when wet ! Maybe try invest in better shower heads as one tries to avoid water squirts on the side but my hair gets wet regardless and the drainage sucks, water fills up in shower. No microwave in room

My rating is actually a 4.2 the option was not there. Cleanliness is superb, towels changed daily, dining are is stunning and would make a perfect wedding venue. The aim is to please; chef was not familiar with vegetarian request on my first two days but by the third day my dinner was impeccable. The effort was clearly visible and tasted just as well. Love the option to eat indoors or outdoors. Ample parking space and a pool for those hot De Aar days. I would have loved a room in the pool side or the grassed area though. Place looks good and you can see that it’s still being upgraded. Things I would change, Internet is too slow or not at all, I had to abandon theirs and use mine. No bottled water in the room but they do give you when you ask. It’s a 3 star rating but I would give it a 4. My view.

Nice place,room spacious enough, all items in the room working. TV,Aircorditioner,Fridge. The entire facility is neatly maintained, dining hall also spacious. Shower is also acceptable size.their WIFI also working. All the basics you would want,for short away from home trip.

Rooms very neat and tidy. Excellent staff. Just the shower head is a problem and spills out quite a bit. Highly recommended for an overnight stay

La Provence it's the best accommodation ever ,stuff treat visitors in a good manner ,rooms and yard are neatly cleaned every day

Used their conference room for a 2 day work session. No problems. Food was delicious. Portions was big. Yhanks for every thing.

Lovely cool clean room with very comfy bed. Quiet. Beautiful swimming pool. Very friendly staff. Unfortunately I had no hot water in the shower and breakfast served on cold plates was tasty but cold.
