Lakeside Mall

There's only 1 word to describe this mall, convenient! It has all the shops one would need to get everything you need. I guess this explains why it's always SO busy. Stores are in close proximity to each other, so you don't tire out from walking from one end to another looking for 1 store. I also find the bargains here are way better than any other mall.

It's a lovely experience to be in this mall. Just a thought ... consider a dummy battery-powered mini-train that can be used by kids and adults, at a minimum charge for both fun and need. This is because the mall is quite wide from end to end. The elderly and kids will find it really beneficial.

I got to lakeside mall on a daily basis as I live near by. The security is highly proactive and makes sure everything is running smoothly and each customer is safe. Lakeside mall doesn't have enough shops to fulfill our desires which is why there are not a huge amount of customers there. The hygiene within the facility is up to standard. The only issue I may have is the restaurant's quality of food as I did have an issue with two of the restaurants there yet it was dealt professionally and satisfying. Overall I will say that lakeside mall is a professional, ethical and interesting place to go to and majority of a customer's needs are met.

Wonderful experience and I also love the fact that Lift do have generator back up for people who are unable to use the elevator

The mall is a favourite for lots of people, always packed, but clean, otherwise parking secured, guards everywhere deserves a 5 star ratingd

Very nice Mall, have been there for the first time, visited Spur with some friends, food was good, but the Cheesy Garlic Prawns was very oily and the prawns were very dry, it was nothing close to the cheesy garlic prawns I have in Durban. Try to improve on this guy's.

The mall thet you will never want to miss in holidays located alongside the man made Lake wich makes the area great for fresh air and its beauty inside will keep you want to vist it more

Nice mall, like all of them. Quite busy for a Tuesday, midday. Has everything, all the shops and presentable, Visible security presence in the car park and in the mall.

I had an amazing Sunday here crabed pizza on my way out I visited clicks and got all I needed and I used Mr Price got a long queue on a Sunday didn't complain coz they came through for the girl really needed what they were offering mind you I was in heels this whole time standing on the queue but I got what I wanted and I left happy so it was really good

The fact that the mall was built 33 years ago is shocking because it STILL LOOKS THE SAME. What's changed is obviously the retail stores inside other than that it should be regarded as a museum. It is nowhere near being modernized, lack of investment to the center has negatively impacted Benoni as a whole. The lake has been invested for years, vendors and store's outside the shopping center has higher traffic than the mall. Some serious intervention is needed as Malls in Mpumalanga and Limpopo are 10 years ahead of Lakeside mall because it's put itself in a difficult position for any type of expansion. This Mall is only good for certain clothes, accessories, tax issues and Dischem. Shopping for groceries here is not a good option because the lack of options is disappointing and there isn't a store with a massive item list
