I must this was the most good place I went to for my cochlear implants, the staff is so amazing. They made me feel so welcome. At first I was nervous but the Dr was so patient with me ans explained everything in details, I would really recommend them to whoever which to visit them. As I'm writing this my hearing has improved a lot, from nothing as I couldn't hear at all before. After more than 4 months of battling to get my daughter Bella’s hearing back up to 100%, with no success, I asked a fiend Audiologist in Johannesburg if she could please recommend someone here in Durban that can work with a small child with severe hearing challenges. She directed us to Dr Kara Hoffman of Thompson & Hoffman Audiology Inc. What an amazing group of people. My Bella was immediately at ease and relaxed. New moulds of her ears taken, and we were told we’d be contacted when we must return. Within 10 days, Bella was fitted with brand new hearing aids and her hearing was again restored along with her self-confidence. Dr Kara Hoffman specializes in pediatric Audiology, and she really had an amazing interaction with my child, in a way the restored Bella to the usual happy girl she’s always been. Thank you Dr Kara, you are a true angel who has blessed our family.
Lauren has looked after Colleen with a high degree of professionalism, patience and kindness over many years and has become a friend. We will really miss her, but know that her legacy which extends to all the staff, will continue in the practice. We have no hesitation in recommending Thompson and Hoffman for anyone looking for top level audiology services in a non-threatening environment.
Dr. Hoffman and her staff are amazing! It is the best place to get hearing aids in Durban. I have witnessed the care and effort that they put into each patient. It's comforting to know that there are still professionals that care about their patients. I highly recommend that you visit the best audiologists in Durban!
It all started with an email asking for clarity about cochlear implant from a random email address I selected on a certain web page, today it's been an awesome 6/7 years of a relationship with T&H. I have enjoyed my experience at Thompson and Hoffman. I had my hearing assessed and have been fitted with a hearing aid. Kara Hoffman has been very professional, kind and patient. I feel I have been counseled very well. I can highly recommend them.
Fantastic, professional. caring and kind team. Dr Kara Hoffman has been working with me prior to my Cochlear Implant and we are currently on my journey working to get my hearing back on my one side. Dr Hoffman is amazing, and the Team working in the practice, Radhika @ reception and Sarah heading up Accounts are all friendly and professional. Would recommend this practice to anyone needing guidance and help with hearing.
