I almost don't want to rave about this place so I can keep it for myself. But what a gem. The most wonderful, accommodating host, amazing service from the staff, comfortable room, really pretty grounds . Close to great restaurants. Well equipped rooms. Everything has been thought of.. Thanks so much to Leigh and her team. I'll definitely be back.

The accommodation felt so homely, it did not feel like a regular guesthouse. Leigh and her staff went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and Leighwood will now become my base whenever I travel to JHB.Rooms: 5/5
We had a lovely stay here for my sister's wedding. Leigh was very accommodating of the entire wedding party and we were well looked after by the staff V and Maria who are very friendly and treated us to a lovely cooked breakfast each morning. The rooms are lovely and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again next time we're in Johannesburg.
Leighwood Lodge is a home-from-home, good old-fashioned Bread and Breakfast lodge in the upmarket neighborhood of Johannesburg. The staff are the best.Rooms: 5/5
I always thoroughly enjoy staying at Leighwood lodge. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The linen is of great quality and is always fresh and clean. On my previous visit I found the room didn't have great WIFI signal which meant I couldn't catch up on my emails. Regardless the the service has always been good. I will stay here again with a pleasure.
Beautifully comfortable rooms. Luxurious bed linen. Bedroom and Bathroom are both spacious with very big shower and a bath. Owners are really warm and the food delicious. A special place centrally situated with easy access to north and south of Johannesburg. Will definitely make this my home from home - that's exactly how it feels. .
Leighwood Lodge is in Parktown North not Randburg as indicated. Like all excellent hospitality businesses the staff here are the real stars. Exceptionally friendly, accommodating and wonderfully efficient. There is nothing to much trouble for this team. Food is excellent and the area, grounds and facilities are secure, central and conducive to rest.
