Little Forest Guesthouse is an upmarket guest house set in the heart of one of Johannesburg's most beautiful suburbs, Parkhurst. It is a short walk away from 4th Street, Parkhurst's bustling street of restaurants, cafés, and boutiques.

Due to its proximity to Johannesburg's major hubs, including Rosebank and Sandton, and its closeness to the Gautrain station, it is perfect for business trips or a stop to or from the the airport.

But Little Forest is more than just conveniently located, it's a wondrous and peaceful oasis in the heart of a bustling neighbourhood. Visitors always marvel at the rocks, trees and abundance of birds that fill the property, and the guesthouse's gardener has ensured fountains, flowers and intricate walkways surround every cottage. It really is a little forest.

For this reason, Little Forest Guesthouse is also the perfect place to book small kitchen teas, bridal showers, or bachelorette parties. It's also a great place for photoshoots, including engagement, family, and couple shoots.

What a beautiful place to stay! It is a lovely quiet and safe place that gives you the sense of staying in the forest with all the plants and rocky finishes.  From the delicious breakfast that helps you start your day on a high note to the friendly staff that makes your stay pleasant and welcoming.  I do recommend this place to anyone who would like a break away from your usual routine for a peaceful stay at Little Forest Guest House

first i loved the communication with Linda, she replies fast on emails, quotes all the admin perfect. then on the arrival Linda welcomed us so nicely, we loved our room the Pool cottage spacious, Clean, Bed very comfortable & the breakfast was nice, everything was there. we enjoyed our Anniversary weekend stay, loved the nature kind of feeling. Thank you to all the Little forest Team. will definitely visit next time. keep up the good work

Linda welcomed us with a warm room. We stayed in winter so she pre-heated the rooms for us Owner, Betsie goes the extra mile. Breakfast was amazing. Felt like a home away from home. Rooms are tastefully decorated and clean. Location is great too!

I loved my stay here with my partner. Betsi was so quick to respond to any of my questions and Linda was also great and accomodating.  Rooms: I really recommend the pool cottage because it&#39;s very private and secluded  Nearby activities: We went to the zoo which was very close by

Loved everything about it, from the room to the garden, the beauty and tranquility was soothing in every possible way. I stayed in Zanzibar and it's stunning to say the least! It was perfection. Above all, the service is outstanding, Linda is an absolute gem and goes the extra mile to make you feel safe and at home. The only negative point is that I have to leave.

Place is peaceful, clean and full of nature kinda feeling. Great hosts @Linda and Betsie.  Negative: When using the bathtub , there's an unusual smell that comes from the side of the shower. Not sure the reason for that.  Overall, we absolutely enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

Pleasing is an under statement of the stay we had. The room was highly spacious and the bed was so big that I even thought of catching an uber to take me  to the other side of it. The bedroom was aesthetically pleasing, it was as if it was taken from a movie! The view and the lighting from within the room is just amazing, its as if you are taking a walk in the safest parts of the amazon. We would really love to visit again!

We came up to Johannesburg for a wedding and Little Forest was in the perfect location for us. The property really does make you feel like you are in a little forest! The room was nice and big with a nice large and comfy bed. Only negative would be the shower temperature which is almost impossible to get right and doesn't drain very well. Other than that, really nice stay that I would recommend!

This is our second time staying at Little Forest in Johannesburg, South Africa   We will not stay anywhere else!  We came here after a long 14 hr flight and wanted nothing more than to just relax and adjust to the new time zone!  That is exactly what we got in the most gorgeous piece of Heaven.  The name Little Forest speaks for itself!  When you walk in you are engulfed and emerged into stone, rock, plants, trees, birds, leaves slowly falling to the ground with such delicacy. The song of birds is so beautiful! Decorations all throughout!  The first time we were here we stayed in the Pool House! Highly recommend it. Our daughter stayed in the loft room above and she said it's like having a room in a tree house. Its a 360 window view in the treetops! She opened the window to get a little fresh air breeze and hear the bird song! She loved it!  The windows bring in nature and allow for you to feel like you are a part of nature. It's fantastic!!  We came back here on a family trip to pick up our  cat! Little Forest is pet friendly too!!!! We stayed in a new room and had a great time!  Oh, there's a koy pond too!!   The community kitchen is so comfy cozy with dining inside and out!!!  Linda the property manager is Amazing, Kind, Sweet, Strong, loving and Caring!  The same goes for Betsie the owner! Such a Blessing to have found this gem and we will always come back and stay when we are in town!!!!!!  Highly recommend Little Forest if Google went up to 10  ratings I would give it a 10!!!
