We always visit this place when we visit Johannesburg and it has become a firm favorite with us. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with paintings which are for sale. The portions are large and the food is delicious. The service was good. Definitely worth a visit.

Had a wonderful Valentine’s Day dinner for 3 at Paputzis. The food was to die for, was fairly priced and the ambiance was lovely. They’re not usually open in the evenings except for little events like this but what a wonderful little home turned restaurant.

Very nice restaurant, quaint with small, but safe parking. We were here for a very small year end function. I had the bean soup which I highly recommend!

Solid 4.4 stars for this smallish restaurant and home goods store wedged in between other small businesses. LOVED the Tramezini with avo, feta, spring onion tomato and mozzarella, accompanied by an ample green house salad. The Golden Cheese melt with ham and mushroom on crusty bread met our high standard, and the carrot cake was the best I've had in years - moist, filled with carrot bits and not overly sweet like so many of them end up. Service excellent, well done guys.

Lovely venue, I'd been there before, many years back under another name. We enjoyed our 'melts' .. strawberry milkshake and rock Shandy..then decided to split a cream scone. Took a bite, and yuk, the cream was sour. We told our waiter who informed the owner/manager. Instead of saying,'apologies for this I'll take these away, and replace them with fresh scones. We were told the cream wasn't 'off' ...eventually asked 'would you like me to replace the scones'? And told us the cream must've gone 'off' from the kitchen to our table :- We replied yes please, minus any cream please. Fresh scones arrived with jam and cream small dishes. We tried the cream, at first it seemed OK..it appeared fine, but then the aftertaste wasn't great..my friend agreed...we ate our lovely warm scones with just jam. Paid our bill and left. What started out as a lovely lunch was ruined for us.. over a disagreement whether the cream was 'off' or not..

A lovely outdoor as well as indoor setting, lovely garden for children to play in with rooster's and hen's walking around. Food and menu was exceptional, owner friendly and came to say hello. Service was excellent. Definitely one of my favourite outdoor places, beautiful fountains.

What a gem in Linden! Staff are super friendly and helpful. Lovely relaxing environment and a safe play area for the kids. Food was fantastic, all very fresh ingredients and very tasty You have to try the carrot cake - so delicious. Highly recommend!Food: 5/5
