Wooo,what a good service I received.I thought I was gona be there all day but no.I arrived at the staion around passed eight and by nine oclock I was already on my way back home.There was a smooth control of lines from the entrance and tellers were faster as well.Keep it up the good work.
I dont like the fact that people that are coming all the way from thair respective homes are becoming a victim of corrupt activities that are happening at all south African license department. when people are desperately queuing to get hulp at traffic department there are those people who are always at traffic department day in day out claiming to assist the poor people that are coming various reasons. those people are not queuing inside and they work hand in glove with those tellers inside, you will find that poor people who woke up early in the morning spends more hours on the que because the teler are busy helping these people who claim to hulp others. and they want extra money for doing that and that particular extra money is being shared amongst them and the teller. if government could just clean all the traffic departments south africa could be free from this barbaric act, or else make it electronically to get hulp at traffic department than to go make those long que. I thank you

This place is the true definition of pathetic spent hours in a queue waiting for the system to get back online absolutely no structure and order do not bother getting an eye test from your optometrist because they don't consider it they force to do one by them. Staff is uninformed and rude. I could I would give them zero. Social distancing is not adhered to.
I did my license march now June still I didn't get ,when I ask them they tell me they lost my picture, wow wow wow
Still the bad place to visit nothing improves waited for 20 munites just to collect the card the was just 2 people in the que
Theyvstate on their boards that the trafing hours is 7:30 but they opened at almost 7:50. The lawn is not maintained and the building over all starts to look like a shack. The gutters is rusted and the roof looks like it might be leaking aswell it neets a good paint. There is a room that is visible from the outside that is over staced with documents so bad that the windows broke when it felled over. Overall my experience was bad because when i got there there was a civilian person showing others the line to stand and pusshing in the line where i feel it should be one of the officers job to indicate where to stand and not a civilian that try to sell ID photos. Also i did not feel at ease with my safety while waiting outside of the court yard. The service of the department is good but i would like if some one is willing to atleast try and explain how to fill som of the documents.
Great piece of advice for all, ALWAYS REMEMBER: 1. COPY OF ID 2. PROOF OF RESIDENCE 3. ID PHOTOS between 2 and 4 Long wait in a row. Was there just before 1 and left just before 3. Took long, to get inside, but once you're in. Everything went kinda quick. Was at the cashier for about 5 minutes. Got my new disc, paid, and left. Staff was friendly Went today, 27 March 2023, for my driver's license renewal. Long row, but I came prepared with a camp chair.
Very quick and efficient. Consultants were quite professional
I was very happy with the service, however after standing in the que to pay for almost an hour I was moved after almost reaching the front then placed behind people who had been standing in the line behind me only because two lines started to form long before I even got there. Now I guess I have to wait another hour. Not so fun after getting here at 05:00 in the morning.
