I live in Dubai and have been to some of the best Spas. I found the service and treatment at Live Day Spa excellent. I liked the small touches they offered from when you entered to the complimentary light therapy and heated beds in the room. The therapist Dawn was amazing. She had a warm personality and is an excellent therapist. Thank you
The space is just sooo calming, beautiful! I went there feeling extreeeemely tired and I think my therapist was aware! Most of the time I fell asleep, She was sooo warm, from offering refreshments, to servicing me, she even charged my phone, ooh my word! Love it
This was a wonderful experience for me from the beginning to the end. From my initial greeting by the receptionist to the end of my massage. My therapist was so warm and friendly. She gave a very thoughtful massage, asking if her touch was the right amount of pressure, checking out medical history etc, and making sure I was comfortable throughout, and kept me informed through each stage of the massage. I liked the room the massage took place in, lighting, soft relaxing music, sacred space. I was offered socks to keep my feet warmwhich i purchased . Gorgeous. Really deep massage into my tissues, a lot of tension released in my lower back. My therapist is very skillful and knowledgeable. I would certainly recommend her. Great attitude and attention to detail.
My kids gifted my wife a voucher for Mother’s Day . She used it for her birthday and wow she could not stop talking about her Amazing experience. From the therapist being very professional and informative during her facial and massage. I recently had an absolutely incredible spa experience with an extraordinary therapist, Annie. Not only was the massage truly exceptional, but her stunning presence added a touch of elegance to the entire session. Her expertise and skill were evident throughout, leaving me feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. I highly recommend booking with Annie.
Amazing experience! We were welcomed and shown to the changing room where we got robes, slip slops and towels. The indoor pool is more of a big jacuzzi as the water is really warm and there are lots of jets which was great! After our swim we had a massage and we left feeling incredibly relaxed.
Yesterday we decided to skip our usual pedicure spot and visit Life Day Spa for our pedicures. What an experience, we opted for the "Fire & Ice" pedicure which includes hot and cold stones. First of all the spa has amazing facilities and its beautiful. Lots of areas to lounge and enjoy a coffee, a pool and flotation pool. The staff are extremely helpful and amazing. Our pedicures were top class, so many extra touches which I don't normally get when going for a standard pedicure. For the small extra amount you pay you get a much and it's well worth it.
Fantastic therapist, Emma, made the experience. Reception staff were a bit confused with our booking after confirming multiple times and not sure who was booked for which treatment and it was a rushed check in to begin the first treatment on time. I'd allow 30 minutes at least to arrive, relax with a drink and fill out the forms and then change into gowns and slippers. The advised 15 minutes was too short. The floatation pool requires maintenance and was missing tiles with sharp edges sticking out. The heated pool area only has 4 loungers so we couldn't get a seat. The therapy rooms are lovely though with ambient lighting and en suite showers. A mixed review, I look forward to improvements to the facilities and more of a relaxed greeting conducive to a spa day.
The receptionist cancelled my appointment after making me pay a deposit because they said they called me to confirm the booking the previous day and they had not called. Only emailed. I gave them a local number to contact me on. Regardless, a deposit is a booking confirmation?? The massage was terrible, too much oil was used it felt like I was drenched in olive oil. Both therapists did not do a consultation with us, after we filled out the forms they gave us - we put them on the table and when they called us 10minutes late for our appointment, they didn’t even take our forms or read them. I had to ask them why they aren’t taking the forms with. My therapists technique felt as if she has had minimal training and put in low effort. She used a stone for most of the massage instead of her hands. Only to find out after my treatment that they did another massage on us and not the CBD massage as I had originally booked. I am disappointed because this is a spa I have used over the years on my trips to Cape Town and the service SUCKS. I don’t even know if the therapists are licensed and what is going on in that place. There’s no friendliness or personal touch. I couldn’t wait for the treatment to end and to leave that place. The spa also needs to update the robes and the beds. The leather was cracked on the bed and the robes were gross. Utter disappointment.
We had a super time at the Life Day Spa. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the venue is really nice. Unfortunately the building itself had a power failure when we were there so the day was a bit challenging with the jacuzzi not working and not being able to get gelish polish done, but it was a nice experience non the less.
