I probably had high expectations for this brand as this was my first luxury purchase but I was just so disappointed with the entire customer experience. I had booked an appointment prior thank goodness because the queue outside was horrific and still had to wait 10 minutes for my CA to attend to me only to tell me the item I want is out of stock. Alright, I paid and within 2 weeks it arrived in the country from France. I couldn’t wait any longer to book another appointment the next available date was the following week so I immediately went to collect it in store and surprise there was another long queue and I waited outside for almost 45 minutes and another 10 inside while the CA assisting me was busy with something else. I hot stamped my initials on my purchase however 3 months later it’s beginning to peel off a little. Will I buy another LV item — definitely, from this store, I’m not so certain.
My partner and I made an appointment which we had forgotten about but landed at their door at the exact time whilst browsing through the mall. Fate. It was nice not to have to wait in the queue outside. We were assisted by Devin whose service was most incredible. This was our first luxury fashion brand purchase, we're still filled with anxiety a day later so much so that our purchases are still sitting in their packaging. Dare I say, when we recover we're definitely going back for their fragrances and quite possibly more?!
I stood in there for long waiting for assistance and i wasnt even offered a drink first time till after i paid. Yes i admit i was a bit untidy mara don't judge. overall the service is excellent
Stood in line for 30 minutes which was a long wait because I was told they allocate a personal advisor. The Doorman was very humble and kind. The lady advisor who assisted me was absolutely pathetic. She showed no interest in helping me and actually made it seem like I can't afford anything. Furthermore she did not try to sell me anything in store. Did not ask questions. Will never return.
Worst experience ever by Siya. I purchased an item where they did not have my size . He made me purchase for the item and was insistent that the item will arrive before Xmas eve. I explained that I am travelling on the 24th December and that it must arrive by the 23rd latest. Hey did not make any contact with me. By the 22nd I checked in on whether the item arrived . He had no feedback for me and just sent me a screenshot that he requested delivery. He said he would contact me by the end of the day. He did not . I then messaged him again to keep aside the larger size item as I’d rather take that then not have anything as it’s a gift. I asked again on the 23rd, did it arrive as once again he has never contacted me. He did not answer me . I told him I will come in tonight to fetch the larger size. He then responds that I must wait in the very long queue. I explained that this is terrible service, he has never contacted me, never apologized for my item not arriving and then can’t even let me collect the item I already paid for without standing in a queue. How is this LV service. This is absolutely pathetic and a customer is unable to call the store instead I get moved to a call centre in Brussels that has no direct contact with South African stores! I would like the store manager to contact me. Perushka Maharaj
5 months ago we ordered a belt from this store, there’s a woman by the name of ayesha who is dealing with us, she sent a belt a while back, which was authentic but the wrong size, we sent it back. 2 months ago, she sent another belt, it didn’t come with a box, just the belt in a packet, the belt was unauthentic. We sent it back, she blamed it on someone else and said she was gonna sort it out. Today we received the package, this belt as you can see in the photos posted below, is 100% Unauthentic, from the colour of the belt to the monograms positioning, this is ridiculous!!! I would like to know what’s going on in the store for your sales people to be sending unauthentic items to customers. Even the box it came in, is unauthentic, it came with no certificate, nothing at all. It’s annoying, because it’s the second time she did this and now I’m forced to ask for a refund, she also sold us other items, so we’ll have to check the authenticity of those!!!
Its ok.. not the widest selection... also feel like the staff feel like they are doing you a favour by letting you shop there.. also giving side eye if you ask the price.. really put me off. The cape town branch is better i feel. Helpful, willing to show you different items..
The staff never said that to claim a vat refund, one has to get a stamp from customs before getting to tax refund office. By the time I got to tax office, there is no time to go out of security and through customs again.
I was in the store today as a customer and witnessed horrific treatment of a customer by the store manager. From my understanding the customer had a credit of R15 000 and has not claimed the credit in the 3 year period. The manager blamed the customer for not taking responsibility for his own credit and started mocking the customer with similar reactions. The customer was about to buy a R50 000 hand bag and the treatment I witnessed made me and other customers walk out of the store. The manager called security after provoking and mocking the customer. Is this the type of treatment you give a customer wanting to buy a R50 000 bag… I am so disappointed and it makes me scared to ever purchase from LV if I also run the risk of losing credit owed to me as a customer. I honestly hope you guys do something about the service at the store, as I only see negative reviews on hello peter.
Although we had an appointment, we asked the guard to go in abit early as ther was no queue outsyd,neither was the store busy inside. He refused. Eventually wen we went in few mins later we had to wait for our consultant , so attempted to speak with the manager abt the issue with the guard - oh my word!- she was worse, wat an attitude! I mean i am buying ur products, u are simply selling them! Staff at these stores shuld be trained to offer servcie with a HUGE smile as HUGE as the price we pay for these bags.
