Lyttelton Police Station

Since when does law enforcement have hours,sure there must be back-up when the main people has left. They are quick to serve notices, but not there when you actually need to get in contact. Sooooo glad my tax money is well spent

Really good service. Police officer went out of his way to assist us. We had to go twice in the last month for police clearance both times we received excellent service.

The worst Service Ever! I have been trying now almost 3 months only to apply for my further Competency! Every time I get there they advise me to come back at another date or time, only to be messed around again if O do. They DONT answer their phones and if they do you can NEVER GET HOLD of their DFO office. This is the kind of service that we want to give our citizens? Thus the reason why so many RSA Citizens have unlicensed fire arms, due to our Police service being Incompetent!

After I did my fingerprints and payment for my police clearance certificate they tell me that I must go and submit the application in Pretoria CBD!!! That is their job.

I would like to thank the officer at the station and the 2 officers of 112 emergency -call out unit,to assist with our emergency today.We have great appreciation for your excellent service in the plight of protecting innocent school children,against intimidating private security companies,fraudulent landlords and corrupt attorneys.Thank you for your assistance,we deeply appreciate SAPS commitment

Very efficiently helped me with certifying all of my documents which totals to about 20 documents. Two commissioners of oath helping me at the same time. There was no queue although while I was there they help at least five other people as well

On my 5th attempt managed to collect my firearm license renewal today. Cop at the entrance was so busy chatting to a friend on the phone while I was standing waiting to be helped. I eventually just walked in and went to the firearm license department. There was a lady - Connie who assisted me with enquiries to find out if the license was ready for collection, she phoned me after my initial enquiry and explained where to go. 100% to Connie for service delivery with a smile.

I suffered a smash and grab on the corner of gerhardt and west street near the gautrain station. Immediately drove to the police station to phone my fiance. The only officer there did not want to allow me to borrow a phone to phone my fiance for assistance. Being the only officer there he told me to wait my turn because he is busy. He was filling out forms that the anyone could fill out themselves if they can read. Furthermore, they are fully aware of the common occurrences on that road but do no follow up. They simply make sure you can claim from the insurance and then it is your problem.

Prompt reaction on my call, friendly and helpful. Referred me directly to the Station Commander who assured me to have my letter signed to distribute essential medical supplies to various distribution points in this "lock-down" period. Thanks to all the Staff, .

Terrible service, went to certify some documents with proof of address. I went with proof of my electricity bill as proof of my address which was printed in a colour... I brought 2copies and the cop refused to certify them even after I showed the email on my phone where the bill was sent... He wanted a hard copy which I don't know where will I take.... It was a very terrible service I ever had. And I needed the copies for school forms for my son....
