Malelane Satellite Camp

Very convenient close to gate, small and basic satellite camp, unfortunately you can still hear the road, but good wildlife around in the area.Rooms: 3/5

Best camp to be away from the crowds. Clean, friendly, intimate and safe. Camping and huts are available with shared ablutions and kitchens which are adequate and very clean. There was a fair bit of road noise from the main road running through the town of Malelane but nothing to deter us from staying there again. Nice to be able to hear the calls of the wild while sipping on a glass of sherry. Please note if you are camping you will need to purchase an adapter to fit into the electrical socket. This can be found at any camping store or shop in the park.

Nothing special about the camp. No food or drinks are sold nearby. The room are ok but a bit old. Honestly, i don't think they are worth the price, I would recommend to stay outside the park for better options and better amenities.

We allways enjoy staying at this little camp. Its small and quiet , but has a decent kithchen area with a chest freezer , washup area and stove. The bathroom has one shower, bath and 2 toilets which is more than adequate.

Small camp with few chalets and camping sites. This camp is one of my favorites as it is always spotlessly clean and the camp grounds always neat and tidy. You never see staff but they do an amazing job. The facilities are excellent with fridges and stoves for communal use, and chairs and tables under a Lapa for all to use. Hyenas walk the fence at night and sometimes one can hear Lions roaring at night.

Convenient if you need to camp close to the gate. Freezer and good kitchen facilities. Noise and lights from Malelane and no privacy or shade at campsites. Nice shade and grass in rondawel area Good game viewing in the area and above Berg en Dal

What a gem!! Will definately return. Intimate camp for camping or lodging. Close to Berg and Dal for swimming and a shop but far enough to spend some quality family time. Some people complain about noises from Malalane, we did experience that.

Neat little camp. Has a large electric freezer available to residents of the camp. We camped only 15 sites with electricity. 5 bungalows available. Never crowded. Located with numerous drives for game viewing. 9 km from the larger Berg en Dal camp which has a shop and restaurant. Although located close to Malelane town and agricultural land across the Crocodile River, this was not a real issue as regards the "bush" experience. Staff kept the sites and communal areas neat and clean

Lovely camp site in Kruger. No shop or office so a bit more quiet which is fantastic. Open and close the entry gate yourself on arrival and departure. Communal kitchen has a freezer which everyone shares and nothing goes missing! . Camp sites have electric points. Well situated and perfect for a quiet break away.
