The location, the views from chalets and the restaurant on site were great. However, the price is high for the quality of chalets and service. It is ridiculous that chalets aren’t serviced everyday despite charging same day charge for one day stay or more. The kitchen has very few pans so you have to clean it yourselves if you stay longer than a day. We realised that as long as you don’t have a need for service, the location makes the impression but that is lost the moment you need any service. I would stay again if the chalets are serviced daily.
Some of the chalets has a beautiful view. Self catering units with self service. Bring your own toilet paper and plastic bags. Beautiful swimming pool. Restaurant on premises. Small resort, you can walk through the resort in 10 minutes. Chalets has a TV with DSTV. Gas stove. We went in December and it was cold.
At first we called them to make a booking for a long weekend where they promised us to call us back but it didn't happened. Then because we're on our way to Mpumalanga anyway we'll pads there because it is central to all the places we want visit. On our arrival at the Panorama we found all the ladies in the reception sitting in a group chatting, my wife spoke to the ladies and they remembered we called the previous day. My wife noticed there is a dog and notified the receptionist of her phobia for animals the lady rather called the dog and said greet her my wife then she left immediately because the dog got up and ask me to open the car. Those receptionist ladies was very unprofessional and very playful we left the Panorama and went somewhere else where we were treated with respect. None of them even followed us to apologize when we were walking to the car and I've explained my wife's condition they just let us leave laughing. I was very disappointed and disgusted with their behaviour and will not recommend this place to anyone because they lost their passion to serve potential guest.
Outdated low spec room. Bad gas geyser setup meant warm shower was not possible. Despite plumber attending to it briefly. No fan or aircon installed. Very Old bed and bedding. Management don't take complaints seriously. Not worth the asking price. Stay in JAN 2023.
Very nice stay!! Campsite is very tidy and well kept. The ablution block looks like it’s newly renovated and lovely showers. The kitchen even has an indoor braai which we made use of when it was raining. The food at the restuarant is delicious. The cook even went out of her way to make sure that the meals we ordered are gluten free. And it was delicious! Definitely recommend the curry! The camp ground is also in a great location close to some epic tourist spots like Gods window. Highly recommend!
Very good place to go there and relax with your family.. the view was super great, the rooms were clean and we really enjoyed.. and the pool was woooow the view from the pool was something else.. my favourite spot Rooms: Were in good condition Nearby activities: Graskop lift company just a walking distance
Great for camping. Well kept campsite with very good slots. Some with a view. Has everything you need, including friendly staff and a great restaurant. Will come back! We had a car with roof-top tents.
Absolutely stunning view. Accommodation great. Restaurant staff friendly. Highly recommend
Really outdated rooms, old beds, old curtains, no decent working gas Geyser, either to hot or cold. For this price per night you would expect rooms to be serviced every dayRooms: 1/5
Camping here with my husband has exceeded all our expectations. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the ablutions are incredibly clean and beautifully modern. Our tent was shaded throughout most of the day, providing a cool experience in very hot summer times and we felt safe during our entire stay. The owner's pets were friendly and well behaved, not causing any disturbances during our stay. Thank you for a wonderful experience, we will definitely be back soon!
