Mamelodi East Police Station

Called in to report a domestic disturbance at neighbour's House, they didn't even bother to come. One police officer kept calling my cell to ask what the problem was, over and over again until I gave up. Another asked if it was necessary for them come still. I was in shock, still cannot believe that happened! And I could still hear the lady distress, but what could I do. If one can't rely on our police force, then who?

They are not professional when talking to people and I don't understand why should we write our own affidavit some people can't write like the other day I had ta go with my friends course she can't write is humiliating there are people with different disabilities including learning disabilities. I don't know what they teach them at the college or they are not implementing what they were teaching them. Please treat us with respect. Batho pele.

The service is not always bad, it depends on who is assisting you. I was assisted by a very nice Warrant Officer the last time I visited the station.

The useless police station is no longer supposed to be a police station it should be a dating site or playground because everyone minds their own business you won't get help there,

I felt disrespected because of a police intern who said some nasty things to me while I was asking for some help in terms of certifying certain papers... I felt so little

A joke of a police station. Dissapointing. Now I see why the community take the law into their own hands, because their local police station has decided to settle for mediocre officers and service.

I arrived at 17h00 on 11 February for police escort and even at 01h00 on 12 February am still waiting for escort

They keep on pushing my fraud case aside even though I provided all relevant info

I would like to be in contact with Constable Tladi, he is the guy in charge of my case, I have been trying to contact the station and no one is answering

There's mostly long queues during the day. But things are better now with the lockdown.
