It seems Gqeberha is the Coffee Paradise. I lost count of how many coffee shops line the middle portion of Main Road. @mastertonscoffee captured my eye one day on my afternoon run and I knew that I needed to pay them a proper visit and have a cuppa. If you don't know it and don't like to read the fine print you would think it is an Attorney's office. Upon stepping inside you are greeted by the most mesmerising coffee aroma, the one that makes any coffee lover stop and deeply inhale and savour every molecule of that coffee fragrance dancing in the air. This coffee establishment resembles a living museum where history meets modern with classy deco of the past and the present. Here you don't only have your caffeine dose but a wide selection of coffees and tea to purchase and all coffee related gadgets. Their brew is as classy as their establishment. Customer service is excellent . Operating hours are 8:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m weekdays, 8:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m on Saturday and closed on Sundays. When in Gqeberha, do yourself a favour and go have a cuppa.
An absolutely amazing cup of coffee.. Exceptionally friendly staff and a beautiful little shop..
My favourite coffee blend from Mastertons is 1388. Was not easy deciding as they have so many aromatic blends. Walking into the shop and smelling the roasted coffee beans makes you want to linger longer. They also have lovely teas. Always great service from the guys. The new premises are fabulous too.
Welcome to Walmer Mastertons! It's is bitter sweet that you had to move from Russell road. But I am sure the next hundred years will build even more of a fan base for your delicious, locally roasted coffee. There is a great selection of manual and automatic grinders and coffee brewers. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly, eager to guide and discuss the next coffee or tea experience.
Very awesome to look at inside, great coffee but poor customer service. Cold Unenthusiastic, negative vibe from staff. Felt very unwelcome. Went once and will not go again
Must stop if you love coffee. Walmer new addition of Greatness. New to their list is coffee shop to sit and enjoy or take away. Specialist in their field and big verity. Brown Gold is my number one choice. I have had Mastertons from childhood, they have taken coffee in PE to new heights and the quality will keep you coming back for more.
Plastic pods. For those looking at their nespresso compatible pods, just be warned that the capsule is plastic. It’s a thick plastic so hopefully it won’t melt in the machine, but it leaves a gross plastic taste in the coffee.
MOST delicious iced coffee in PE! Mastersons is definitely a place to visit for coffee enthusiasts and connoisseurs!
Excellent coffee and service. Nice experience!! Will definitely visit again!!
Friendly service and excellent coffee! I walked in and the barista remembered my coffee order … it felt like I was home
