Nice and big store .it's looking very clean .self ordering cubicles are also available for your convenience. Big enough for kids to run around and do stuff and make lots of noise. They do have coffee obviously and the drive through is packed during lunchtime and evenings
When you order a large fries and get short changed. This is shocking to say the least. For a McDonald’s I support and drive out of my way for, you will not be seeing me again - and this after waiting for 40 minutes in the drive-thru. Siesa.
The place was clean and neat when we arrived around 9am, as we needed to make a stop over for a quick breakfast before heading back to durban and the branch definitely did not disappoint. The staff were very polite and helpful and they have excellent customer service. Meals were ordered and arrived promptly without a long wait as the store was still a bit empty, so we were tended to without any delays, this for me is a big thing especially if you are traveling with kids and you are not going to be able to wait long for your meals to arrive, this branch was excellent. They also have a play area and toilets.
Everything about this specific McDonald's was great- I loved their play area more than anything. It was clean- the hygiene standards were really on point. I got to enjoy my meal and relax while my little one made friends in the play area! Kid-friendliness: Please see above comment.
The drive through takes a good 20minutes to get through, so by the time one gets ones food it's already cold. The self service inside isn't any better because people just group around the screens instead of forming ques, so you have to fight for a screen. It's quicker to just cook something at home than go to this McDonalds.Food: 2/5
This store is like a staff canteen. The staff are always extremely noisy and unprofessional. You have hear them screaming in the kitchen and behind the counter even at the furthest table. There's always groups of staff taking up customer seating areas for meetings and the likes, even when full. There's a complete lack of professionalism. I recently waited close to 15 minutes for an eat-in order and one of the burgers was completely wrong. It's not a great atmosphere and the food is not that great/ inconsistent. I only go to this branch because we live close by and my for my son.
Went twice, first time was a lovely experience, second my order was lost in the kitchen. I ended up waiting almost an hour for food. Otherwise this macdonalds branch is a decent branch.Food: 4/5

My coffee did not have enough milk it still looked black whilst i ordered white one. I spent more than enough time on drive because they people which outside their car but still standing there by the windows.Food: 3/5
Just received the stalest, sloppiest takeaway I’ve had in memory. Looks like McDonalds took an entire share bag that was left over from last night, shoved it in the microwave for 5 minutes and then shipped it to me with a melted ice cream as an excuse for a chocolate milkshake. Sies!
