Went through drive thru to buy our meal. Before we were greeted by anyone through the drive-thru intercom, we were greeted by a person roaming around the premises and asking for money. Then they didn't have cappuccino and that came with the meal we hoped to order, we ended up paying extra for something else. After that the burgers were served on their sides in the box. Honestly! Where is the common sense! I ended up with a box of burger ingredients not the full burger.
For a fast food service, they are extremely slow. Been sitting in the drive through lane with 5+ cars in front of me for almost half an hour. Even in rush hour time, they are supposed to be much faster. Especially if they are right next to the mall.
The service was really not bad ,we just didn't get our muffins or doughnuts in the morning as they were still frozen ,the good is that we were allowed to come back again in the afternoon to collect them.Food: 5/5
I don't know, maybe this is the standard and I'm being difficult. I bought a quarter pounder with cheese and chilli cheese fries and this is what I got.

I found a living cockroach in my Big Mag burger on top of that I waited more than 30 minutes for my order only to get home and see an insect. This is beyond upsetting. Please do better guys, I’m never going to buy from McDonald’s Vaal Mall.
Fantastic place to order food. Foods always delicious and you receive it in a fashionable amount of time. Very friendly staff always putting a smile on the faces of customers. Lovely overall. Kid-friendliness: They serve kids meals and are friendly with children. Ask about meals in store.

Rude servants and cold food. Probability of 1 in 4 times that I receive an impressive meal. No consistency in good service provided.Food: 3/5
The service was decent but the drive thru took so so long. Too long for a McD drive thru. Furthermore, my order was incorrect. I asked for an oreo *chocolate* McFlurry but was given a regular oreo McFlurry. It's also unfortunate that they do not offer scanning the McD app for points. I suggest more staff on hand during peak hours like lunchtime
