My wife has been seeing Dr. Goldberg for 20 years and is of the opinion that she is the best dermatologist in Johannesburg. I have subsequently also consulted with her and have been very impressed with her wide knowledge, expertise and experience. Very professional and thorough. Charges in line with any other experienced and best in class medical specialist. Would highly recommend her.

I have been seeing Dr Goldberg on and off for years. Where other doctors had failed to treat my severe eczema and other skin issues, she succeeded. I am more than willing to forgive her timekeeping try get the first appointment of the day and am happy to pay what I think is a fair price for her expertise.

I have been to Dr Goldberg's office FOUR times but only saw her TWICE. The reason for this is because the first time I was there, I didn't anticipate an hour wait, I stepped out during working hours so I had to give up the consultation. The second time, I was prepared so I booked out my afternoon to see Dr Goldberg, the consultation was an hour late. The third time, it was 45 minutes late. The fourth time, it was 1.5 hours and still waiting! I was very upset because an hour late is already very unacceptable but to wait more than 1.5 hours is just ridiculous. Both receptionists were unfriendly, unhelpful and unapologetic, they had such bad attitude! I told them that I am going to leave as this is unacceptable and I have other commitments and their literal response was "sure!". Furthermore, the consultation was never more than 15 minutes long so I really couldn't understand how there was always such a long delay. I was treated but saw very slight improvements on my problem after two consultations. I thought maybe I'd go see her one more time and see if there will be slight improvements. Two weeks later, my fiancé made an appointment with a dermatologist at NHC, the first consultation took 45 minutes as the dermatologist took time to examine my skin and asked me questions. I was given meds and after two days, I saw good improvements already! The consultation fee was also 25% cheaper than Dr Goldberg. As a patient, I don't expect miracle healing but a basic level of good customer service from receptionist and professionalism from the Dr is our right.

I met Dr Goldberg after seeing another dermatologist. She is expensive but worth every penny. The previous dermatologist took pictures of my moles and skin. A doctor friend of mine, after seeing one of my moles was concerned and recommended seeing Dr Goldberg. The mole was cancerous and could of killed me, only my friend and Dr Goldberg picked it up. I was rushed to surgery and am living proof that she is a great doctor. You get what you pay for sometimes, money can be replaced.

Went here with the expectation of a professional experience where I could have a good consultation. I didn't even get to see Dr Goldberg. This place was horrendous. Waited for an hour and was given no explanation at any point that there was a delay, how long for, why or an apology. Just 2 ladies at reception laughing that there was a delay and that they couldn't get any explanation from the doctor. The waiting room which I spent all this time before eventually walking was outdated and unwelcoming. It was unbelievable...I'm sure I can't bill them for my time though. Looking elsewhere.

Dr Goldberg herself is a wonderful and sweet doctor. But to do a quick procedure WITHOUT explaining the cost of doing it is unprofessional. Especially when you get handed a bill of R6000!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? She charged for 1 earbud and 2 plasters amongst other things. I wasn't aware that my bill would be so high. Only to be slapped with a seperate pathologist bill a few days later. .

Post roaccutane treatment should be replaced with alternative products as Eucerin, which Dr Goldberg prescribes, has not been strong enough. Rather move over to La Roche Effaclar Medicated kit. La Roche has a much higher review of their products than Eucerin does. It may be worth while going through their medicated product suit before going to a dermatologist and starting roaccutane.

Very kind, intelligent and professional doctor. Resolved our skin issues with thoughtful treatments. Less than 10 minute wait each time we visit. I have been seeing her with my two children for the past 5 years.

Knew when I walked in that I didn’t want to be there but I didn’t want the waiting room to put me off if the doctor was worth it - I should have trusted my gut. Arrived 5mins before my appointment. I was the only one in the waiting room but I still waited half an hour before I just left. If I’m expected to be on time, I expect the same of my doctor, or at least some communication. The receptionist only tried to call the doctor once I told her I was leaving. Won’t be coming back.
