Caregivers give you a complete false sense of security as the hand over is done with a skilled nurse to match the patients’ needs whilst its anything but that. Nurses are unfamiliar with equipment and each fully insistent rather than checking with a superior. Poor usage of the equipment directly impacted my child yet these problems are taken lightly by management. Unable to react in case of an emergency. I do not recommend care with kids as nurses have very low energy levels or interest to cope with a mobile patient. Patient care is not a priority, medical needs with my child a 5 year old was simply not done if she did not co-operate with zero effort. This would never be done by a hospital nurse. We switched care companies where the service levels were amazing and the knowledge of the equipment was extremely impressive or as it should be. Needless to say I would not recommend Medwell
One of your drivers tried to force us off the road for no reason and was driving like an absolute maniac. I really hope there were no people in the transport van. Total lunatic very scary to think this is a health service. Called in to let them know about their driver nothing has been reported back to us not even so much as an apology.
Useless Caregivers arive late for work. No visits from Nursing Sisters as per the contract. No feedback when you call head office with a problem or complaint. Caregivers we had were not properly trained and qualified to work with a stroke patient. This cause a risk for the patient. The caregivers also did not perform their duties - especially exercising with the patient, as stipulated by the nusing sister who brought them and explained it to them. This caused the physiotherapist as well as the occupational therapist to report that no progress can be seen with the patient. I will not recommend this company to anyone wo needs a caregiver for a patient with a serious condition. feedback when you
