Megan Weston is an Occupational Therapist with a special interest in Early Childhood Intervention
Megan completed her Honours degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of Cape Town after completing her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She is passionate about working with children and firmly believes that early intervention is key to empower children to reach their full potential. Her special interest in children inspired her to open her own paediatric centre in Meadowridge, Cape Town. Megan has experience in treating children with developmental delay, sensory processing difficulties and motor and coordination difficulties. Not only does she treat children with challenges, she believes that sensory stimulation is beneficial for all children as it improves their ability to think, communicate and connect with others. Megan is a certified provider in basic DIR Floortime and has completed a course in Praxis Assessment & Training which assists in assessing and understanding any child’s strengths and weaknesses to enable them to reach their developmental milestones.
