Merino Restaurant

Standard well priced breakfast with good service.

We wanted to have dinner on the 5th of January at 7 o clock. No lamb curry, no lamb chops, no lamb tails, only 1 skaap afval

Foods is good but one thing this is suppose be a restaurant not a dining casino cuz I HAVE TO WAIT FOR MY PARENTS TO FINISH THE MONEY SO WE CAN LEAVE Please just be a restaurant and not a casino

The kids play area is closed down but they offered toys and crayons for the kids. The food was freshly prepared and very good. They were out of wine options. But non the less had a lovely bottle that will become a new favorite.

We were there tonight, terrible service. We ordered and around after an hour they came and said they don't have pizza bases anymore, we ordered something else and waited another hour the food came, eventually, when we ordered we specifically asked if there is ham in it and they said no, when it came there, there was ham on, we don't eat pork. They just took it off and tried to serve it like that without the ham. We said no its unacceptable, we waited again for a while before they brought something else. I ordered a double burger, the menu says you get chips, onion rings and sauce. I did not get onion rings or sauce. They then proceeded to charge me for sauce that I did not get but i told them to remove it and give me off for the onion rings I did not get. The owner just stood there, did not come say sorry or nothing. The manager was not really involved he did organize the new food. But we were really disappointed. We had 3 different waiters helping us, waited long though. Our last waiter was quite nice. The food was mediocre, but other then the food the tables weren't cleaned as the people left and the lady's toilets did not flush, it was full of toilet paper and was not nice. Rather go to Ka'roux Family restaurant.

What an excellent service, atmosphere is on top. Decoration is on top. Owners are born with the highest quality of creativity. Warm welcome always when we visit Merino. Keep it up Merino owners with your staff.

Great management, comfortable bar and gambling machines available. Bar has a Jukebox, so music played is what you want to hear

Merino Restaurant rarely have all their food items e.g. lamb neck in stock. Furthermore, somehing should urgently be done with all the vagrants outside the restaurant bugging the people.

A really great place which truly captures the Karoo Feeling with awesome Windpomp fans in the ceiling. They also have great food and service. This is a must stop if you ever go through Victoria West.

Unfortunately not as nice as it used to be! The lamb chops 400g dish, consisted of 3 small chops, drenched in barbecue sauce, which didnt bring out a taste of mutton at all, but rather beef. Quite expensive for the quality of food.
