The telephone number does not get answered

They call themselves a service centre - well that is a laugh - 11 people sitting waiting for 1 consultant. The lady behind the greeting desk does nothing except greet literally. Who knows if there is a manager and 1 teller. Serious why is Standard not closing the branch would be less frustrating. BUT let's blame it on Covid.

Waited in front of the building for 10 min before someone oppend the door for us. There’s 9 service booths but only two consultants working. Customer service is poor. People consultants standing around and chatting without helping us. Hopefully online banking will render this place and its service obsolete in the future

If I could give less than one star I would!!! Absolutely terrible client service. Waste of time, waiting for hours just to open an account. Wonder if HO reads google reviews? Without the people's money you are nothing. This branch should be closed or put under new management. Worst Standard Bank branch!!!

They are not fit to handle high amounts of clientele. Ive been there twice in a week where everytime I had to wait more than two and a half hours. The branch has 11 vacated tellers/ consulting booths that are open. Only 4 people working. This is ridiculous!

9 customer service bays … but only 2 consultants on duty Feels like the staff is on a go -slow Please new management and new staff. I’m sure there are more friendly people in the que looking for a job

Pathetic service!!! Staff is rude especially with handling old customers standing in lines. Only when I enquired why the elderly was sitting for 45 minutes and other people just walking by and being helped immediately I was snubbed by a Standard Bank employee and he even swore at me as he was going inside again. I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years and I am considering changing banks as this is happening frequently now!!!!

Letting old people stand outside during Covid in the extreme cold. Don't let people know how long outside they have to wait. Those who stood in line for more then an hour had to change rows because they stood in the wrong row. Best for last, no one answers the phone.

Amazing there is No good reviews on this particular branch and my personal experience today I am out of words.. Surely head office should take note and listen to the customers.. After all without our funds you are Nothing..

As all the other people complained, 1 consultant to assist. What should take me 5 minutes will probable be over a hour!
