Life Med Hospital Middelburg is very terrible , I stayed there for more than 45 minutes while they were busy laughing on the other side, The Dr came with an attitude after I called the sister to ask for Dr, then work part the sister kept on injecting me more than 3 times to check for vein to put drip how can a professional not see a vein and inject in the right place, then she puts a drip and leave me after 30 minutes I see blood I realise that the drip was not moving I had to call another male sister who put a drip on. We run from public hospital for better service that we pay for but we receive a very terrible service I am not happy at all and will take this further HPCSA to advise me what kind of health care is this. People must be very careful going to this hospital
Went in for an emergency appendectomy. Amazing fast service, friendly staff, clean bathroom, clean bedding and gown every day, delicious food and Dr. Zelda Henning the most amazing surgeon I could have ever asked for. Only recommendation is to please install a rail in the shower for those with drainage bags.
We really have no choice. If there was a competitor we would go there. 2 hours at emergency room with a sick weak child no attendance. The doctor is one pompous arrogant chap who looks down on black ppl. Its a shame
This Hospital is well structured, access very simple and the employees are very respectful
I was transferred from Belfast to Midmed after being involved in a car accident. I appreciate the prompt response and the attention I received from the staff the moment I was wheeled in. I received pain medication almost immediately. The Radiographer,Sam was so professional and really relieved my anxiety. I was discharged around 22h00 and struggled to find transport. But the nurses helped me and my kids. In the morning we were even treated to breakfast. The only thing that I think would have bee 5 star is pain medication . I was in pain the whole night and even though I had a script, I couldn't get the meds as it was already late.
Great service, friendly and helpful staff I arrived late Saturday night they helped me as soon as I arrived at the emergency centre, gave me a scan and found the problem very quick Dr Zelda Henning is an awesome doctor This is my second visit at MidMed hospital, my first visit they helped me with pneumonia bronchitis in 2012 I recommend this hospital
I wish I had enough words to thank each person I dealt with today. From Admissions, to Ward 2, to Theater staff, Dr E Swarts, Anesthesiologist. Even they guy that pushed my bed to theater. I have been in quite a few hospitals in my life, but none of them can even compare to the amazing service I received today at MidMed. If I remembered all of your names, I would've mentioned each one to give credit. Thank you for making me feel safe, loved. The guy that pushed me to theater - you saw my pain, emotionally, your prayer gave me hope! Just thank you! Thank you 1 million times × another million! Thank you for choosing to work in the field God has chosen for you, and working because its your passion,not just to get another pay check!
Giving you a star for the sake of you operating. Your service sucks honestly. I brought my son with head injury And bleeding, no urgency and empathy from Reception at all. Got here around 5 and now it's 6 and son is still waiting at reception with headache and blood
My two year old girl enters the emergency unit with ambulance just after 18h00, blunt force laceration to the rear of her head and we are told to wait for shift change!!! Great job at making people feel like true animals Midmed. Thanks for allowing my baby girl the privilege to bleed while your shifts change.
A huge thank you to all the angels working in ward 1 and ward 2. Appreciate all your patience, love, service-with-a-smile and kindness shown towards my 86 year old mother yesterday and today. I appreciate you all so much. So much professionalism.... from the cleaners upwards. I salute and respect you all. #midmed can be s0 proud of you! Much love to all of you kind regards reinette
