They keep improving this practice and can compete with the largest chains out there. The practice is well run with great quality doctors. Pharmacy, labs and most medical requirement withing a short walk means you do not have to drive around after your visit. Practice is extremely efficient especially with billing and medical aid claims meaning you do not need to hang around longer than you need to while being sick.
Friendly and professional staff, the GP I've consulted with more than once has always assisted me the first time around and is very accommodating towards me as a patient. I will definitely recommend the Midrand medical center.
My mother is a very delicate and sensitive individual, and she recently saw Dr. Ramen. I was very impressed with the way she treated my mom. She is not only an excellent doctor, but she also has attributes of compassion. She welcomes conversation with a smile on her face and makes a point to pay attention to what her patients say. She gives advice. My mother has been coping with a number of ongoing chronic health issues, which she helped get under control. In addition to her unwavering commitment, she is a source of optimism for the Midrand Medical team. She brings a positive light. I pray that God will bless her, and I wish her all the best for the future.
Visited to get my medical and radiology reports. It was not too crowded. Got the work done fast and easily. Even the staff was very polite and helpful. Had a good space for waiting also. My husband could wait in peace until my tests are done. The reports also came quickly.
The worst decision I made was to bring my daughter here for a consultation. We made an appointment to see the Dr at 11:00, we arrived early 10:45 and only at 11:27 they decide to check if we have file and want to make a file. Eventually 11:42 my daughter gets to see the Dr after having waited 42 min since the time of our scheduled appointment. What is the purpose of making an appointment if I’m not going to see the Dr at the time which the appointment was scheduled for.. This place is run like a tuck shop, their service is not be desired and the worst medical center in midrand period. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone!!! If I could give Zero stars I would have.
We checked on line and it says the center closes at 1pm, arrived there at 11h53 and was told by the receptionist that they close at 12. No problem there proceeded to inform the lady that we need to see the doctor and she was really rude and dismissive. Went on to say that because we have never been there opening a file would take too long and she is closed. This is a very poor way of treated people seeking medical help from doctors. Would honestly never go back there based on that encounter. That medical center must train that old white lady with the Karen hairstyle on how to talk to people properly. Midrand Medical Center, get your staff trained.
Very disappointing service! I've made a booking for 9am but was running late and phoned to reschedule at 8h15 and was given 10h30 slot. On my arrival the booking was not on system! The reception lady rescheduled us for 11h15, we waited till 12h15 in the isolation room. When I asked why are we not being attended to, they said the doctor has an emergency but no one bothered to update us.
In Midrand Medical Center there are a lot of different shops like, property offices, Coffee shop and Gift shop too. And for kids there little play ground, it is a beautiful place and it is Medical center too. Very convenient place and parking a lot there. Pharmacy shop is also in this center.
This group practice is one of the worst from the receptionist to the Doctors. On Monday morning I called to set an appointment with a GP and they told me because I have flu symptoms they will have to do a telephone consultation. I did not have a problem with that, however, after 4 hours no one called for my consultation, I had to call again to remind them about my consultation. After 30 minutes Dr Chihaka called me and said that I must go for Covid-19 test and she will send my script to the pharmacy. After I have done the test I went to the pharmacy to collect my medicine, to my surprise they did not receive my script. I had to call her for my script and only after 16:00 the pharmacist received the script. She also requested some blood tests so after the results were out I called her to interpret the results for me. To my shock I was told that she is not in and they don't know when she will be back. I had to send an email to the nurse to find out if my file has been transferred to another dr since Dr Chihaka is not available and Dr Chihaka did not even tell me that she won't be in the following day. I'm in such a pain and I need a script for something stronger for my pains and it seems no ones cares. This morning I was told that one of the drs will call me at 10:30, at 13:00 no one has called, again I had to call them to check and the answer I received was that no dr is available, meaning I can't be helped. I want to lay a formal complaint with the Council 'cause this is unacceptable. After my experience I'm glad to say that my file was transferred to Dr Malan who called me as promised for a consultation and he prescribed more medicine which helped as I' m now feeling way much better. He is the reason I'm changing my score cause his service is excellent. This morning he also called to check up on me and my son. For that I'm grateful job well done Dr Malan
I want to share my wonderfully experience with people in the Midrand area looking for a doctor . There are very excellent doctors that are very friendly and professional. All the staff are friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this practice.
