I love coming to eat breakfast at Mike's Kitchen, the waiters always take care of you they are professional and nice no fake smiles plus manager is funny and sweet really a people's person and the food is just really mouthful, it's so satisfying. I had the Roustic porch breakfast abd thoroughly enjoyed it cause it has my fav cheese griller Kid-friendliness: Kids are more than welcome and have their own playground
This is surely one of the most kid-friendly restaurants in Cape Town as it offers two amazing play areas inside and outside where the kids can keep themselves busy. The outside area is equipped with a huge jungle gym that features 3 slides. There is also a trampoline and space to run around. The indoor playground has a little crafting table, a couple of machines and computer games. So it's perfect for kids of all ages and they surely won't get bored. The menu is quite extensive and you'll basically find everything on there. Salads, steaks, burgers, light meals, kiddies options...you name it. The staff was also super friendly and helped me out with 2x R10 notes so that the kids could try the claw machine. The best part: every game is a winner - so you'll definitely get something out and your money is not wasted! We and the kids absolutely loved it! Vegetarian options: There are quite a few vegetarian options on the menu. Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly with 2 play areas indoor and outdoor and a fun kiddies meal. Parking: We could park right in front of the restaurant and a park guard is looking after the cars. There are plenty of parking spots available.
After so many years later dining at Mike's Kitchen was a absolute delight. Food was delicious. Mother inlaw was happy with her meal. Will definitely visiting again. Pity we dont have one closer to Simon's TownFood: 5/5
The food was good and fairly calm atmosphere, I like that the okay areas are secluded so nice for people who don't have kids but who would like to try this place out. Very poor service. Waited 20 minutes for our drinks from the time we ordered we were only 2 people at our table. Besides the long waiting time, the food wasn't bad. Nothing to get too excited about. Had a full salad as a starter and was so glad I did that, I was still so hungry afterward.
Always a pleasure dinning at Mike's kitchen Milnerton. It was load shedding so we went in for supper. The food was awesome, their salads are the best. My kid had a blast. Kids area is safe and in full view, with a child supervisor in attendance. Waitress was professional, kind and helpful. I love the atmosphere and the staffs hospitality.
Five of us had lunch on Monday, 3 July 2023. The restaurant was quiet, maybe 2 - 3 other tables were occupied. The four of us sat down and advised the waitron that the 5th lady was on her way. After the 5th lady arrived we had to signal the waitron to take our drinks order, I didn't think we had to wait for the 5th lady to arrive for the waitron to take our drinks order. We placed our food order, 3 of us ordered the baked potato, salmon and avocado dish and 2 of us ordered the stir fry dish. About 20 - 25 minutes later another waitron or manageress came to our table and advised us they did not have avocados, I asked what she suggested as an alternative, she didn't know what to offer. Then I asked what the veggies of the day were, she had to go to the kitchen and find out. The 3 of us changed our dishes. The 2 ladies that ordered the stir fry complained to the waitron that there was no cashew nuts in their dishes, the waitron's response was oh and did nothing about it. We had to again signal the waitron to order more drinks. We all found the service to be very bad and slow.
Very impressed. There is not a huge variety of dishes for the buffet, but what was available was sufficient. Service and friendliness of the staff was outstanding. Will definitely go again.Food: 5/5
Mike's Kitchen is one of the best places to get breakfast in my opinion. The staff are nice, the food and drinks are nice, and the service is top quality. Everything is done quick in 10 to 20 minutes. I have been here many times over the past few years, and there are no suggestions I can make because of how great everything is here.Food: 5/5
A great start to the day. Excellent value for money breakfast. Staff are very friendly. Service was fast and efficient. Food was very tasty. Pop in you won't be disappointed.
Celebrated my 40th birthday there. They were full, portions are large. They have a vibes African birthday song! I think you could have more of a fuss on a birthday though. If you have their app, you get R75 birthday voucher, which is nice.Food: 4/5
