When you enter the resto, you get the vibes that you are not in Belgium. The interior is made from rammed earth in a cave like style & wooden furniture. In summer time, dining in the garden feels like a tropical resort. Very nice hideaway and relaxing atmosphere, for me the appetizers were nicely seasoned: papadum with mango yoghurt sauce & grilled scampi/ fish with salad & chutney assortment. Our fish thali is a nice way to get to taste different dishes from India and Bangladesh cuisine. Curries are fine but personally, can be spiced up. Probably is adjusted to be softened for Western palette. Tips: Finish your food before it gets dark, otherwise the mosquitoes will eat you up alive!
1. Amazing ambiance 2. No authentic Indian test 3. Food not justify the price 4. Lot Mosquitoes in the premisesFood: 1/5
Great authentic Indian food. Relaxed service, but never had to wait too long. Absolutely friendly hosts who were very accommodating even though we didn't make a reservation ahead.Food: 5/5
Lovely interior, delicious food and very hospitable service!
Tasty but adapted to European cuisine. It cannot be considered fully authentic Indian food. Masala dish not spiced enough, pulao rice just plain rice with peas placed on top at the end.
Looks very casual from the outside, but enter this magical place and you'll be blown away. Very friendly staff Very good food Lovely drinks! Child friendly Not too expensive
We found the place online by searching for nice placed to dine near Leuven. Never expected this nice of a place! Wonderful cozy and nice inside and atmosphere! Almost like being in Bengal! Super kind and helpful staff, was very joyful after we ordered 8 mango Lassi! Super tasty! Loved the food and will definitely come back when I'm in Leuven again!
Although we had to wait to get served drinks especially the food was excellent and the service kind. Fuses couldn't handle it though, so we had a few power blackouts that night.Food: 5/5
Small restaurant with a very nice atmosphere. Partitioned into small rooms which are decorated very atmospheric. Waiting staff is very friendly, although a bit inexperienced. Be sure to try the mocktail. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options. Parking: I could easily park in front of the restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant has lots of small steps and narrow doorways. Also, tall people, mind your head!
Love the place, especially the garden in the summer. It is a beautiful restaurant with beautiful furniture inside and in the garden. The food is so tasty!Food: 5/5
