Poor service, burnt pizza and our waiter advised we should go to Woolworths for desserts
Poor day in the office for mimmos today? Usually mimmos is a safe bet for great pizza and pretty friendly and attentive staff. On arrival the store was fairly quiet, single table outside, 2/3 tables inside. On entry, I had to scout the shop floor to find someone to assist, however was unsuccessful and resided to wait at the tellers counter. After a minute or 2 of the kitchen and bar staff stairing at me wondering themselves whats happening, a store manager came out the back. I assumed I would be assisted, however did that not happen. A waiter there after saw and came to assist, she was friendly and navigated myself and a another take away order at the same time. I ordered 2 pizzas and a beer to help the day go down. After wating a while sitting outside I wondered where my beer was. I headed inside to find the waiter aimlessly scrolling through her phone. Shocked to see me she, rushing to grab the beer. Once the pizzas arrived, I thought time to head home after a long day and enjoy. How disappointed we were , pizza bases were partially cooked, and only about 1/4 of the pizzas actually cut. I will return as the service and quality of the food is usually great. However today wasn't their day.
Food was good, depending on what you order, we ordered lasagna, the wait was long, pizza seems to be quick. Open plan kitchen works against them as staff are shouting to one another, even when standing next to one another, makes the noise in the restaurant very loud. Our waitress was really lovely and attentive
Food was good, as expected from Mimmos but the service was not so great. Our waiter had absolutely no people skills and was running around like a headless chicken, despite the restaurant not being busy at all. The head chef wore his mask underneath his chin, which was majorly concerning. Furthermore, I could hardly hear any music being played in the restaurant over the sound of cutlery and crockery being banged down on tables by waiters.
I dont compromise with my pizza...I always choose MIMMOS
We attended the Monday Pizza/Pasta Special. Pizza's were nice, unfortunately the Pasta we wanted to order they had run out of by 7pm, but all and all an okay experience.
Attempted to give mimo's a try on Sunday. Walked in not a single table occupied. As I sat down table cloths all dirty. A few moments later cockroaches all over the place. No thank you. You won't find me there in a hurry. Walked straight out.
Best place to meet with friends and catch up. My favorite place for doing a celebration.
Went for lunch, waitrons staff should be more friendlier didn't really feel welcomed and kitchen staff made a lot of noise. Felt like just another customer... Service could improve.. Adequate atmosphere.... Waiters needs training on customer service... A polite smile and introduction isn't too much too ask for... Food is tasty and delicious.........
Friendly service, waiting time wasn't long at all and undoubtedly one of the best pizza's I've had in a long time, would 100% recommend it.
