Miramar Kwik Spar

I am usually very impressed with Miramar Spar. They have amazingly freshly baked buns and a good variety of products. BUT I was so disappointed yesterday 23 Oct 2021! The fresh produce really needs to be improved. It is absolutely unacceptable to purchase something that supposedly only expires on 31 October 2021, but is already completely rotten.

Closed door in my face 2 minutes to 7. All i wanted was a milk. The lady just looked at me like I was crazy. Not the first time. Honestly a bunch of government workers. I would reccomend any other spar. Their selection of fresh produce is also limited.

They usually have what you need which is all you expect from a quick spar, but it's one of PE's best kept secrets- their bakery is amazing! The building itself is a work in progress with a chipped tile here and there but the friendly staff make up for it. I do wish that they would hire a real security guard as some of the beggars in the parking lot are relentless and have criminal records.

Convenient useful hours. The apple tart would be nice if you could please put a little more apple into it. Two peices of dough with no filling in between is not acceptable, please up the quality and the apple filling.

Their fast food dept is terrible. They should follow the example of Spar Walmer.

This shop is so much better than it used to be about 2 years ago. I love their little bakery section. Their doughnuts are lovely and I like their biscuits.

Close and convenient. Open to 8pm on Sundays which is a big help. Bakery is excellent. Only has the basics and not a lot of fresh produce.

Nothing to shout about but very convenient for the basics since they are just up the road from home. No bad experiences ever yet and the staff are generally friendly and helpful but the really fancy stuff is not found here and understandably so from a business point of view.

Milk R 79.99 today so we left. Found same milk at Fig Tree Spar for R 69.99. That was just evil and disgusting. I wish I could reply to your message but had to edit mine. Thanks for the reply.

Very convenient shop to have but when the app says you're open at 7 and then you waiting 15 mins after isn't really great... The manager is still in the car :/
